CPU Temperature 70-85deg C

Hi /k/,

My computer is old (using c2d E4500). recently i notice that the temperature even at idle is 70deg C. And at 50% load (not even playing games or anyting) it will go up to 85deg C. Is this normal temp or is it too hot?

What should I do to fix this?

inb4 buy new computer

Getting Shot by a Bullet

Do you ever realize that in the movies, whenever someone wearing a bulletproof vest gets shot ...

... he/she must definitely then go and rip up his shirt / blouse / uniform / whatever to show everyone else the bullet?

Car Auction / Bank Lelong

Hi /k/ I just had random thought.

We all know that ppl who car loan cannot pay, bank will repossess the car. Then later on the bank will lelong (example here http://www.cimbbank.com.my/auction/auction.php?action=view1)

How come nobody (individual) goes to those lelong to buy cars? is it because need to pay cash upfront? or is it cos the second hand dealers will go and sapu everything? I got so many friends who buy cars but not a single one buy from lelong.

Ok so I'm in Johannesburg for work these few weeks (inb4 south africa is not ppl live one), and I'm in a service apartment.

And I got hold of this delivery service named MrDelivery ... website here

How it works is like this. The booklet has about 30 restaurants menus. You order what you want, they place the order with the restaurant, then they go pick up and deliver to your house. Charge about RM10 delivery charges.

Will this work in Malaysia? After all whenever we lazy to cook or whatever we only got 3 choices: pizza, mcd, or nando's. wouldn't you tend to order delivery more often if the delivery service you can also order garlic cheese naan and tandoori from steven corner, or sushi set from some jap restaurant, etc etc (but then have to pay for it)?

Or are us malaysians too stingy to pay rm10 delivery fee?
