Hi Everyone,

Desperately need help!

2 days ago my GPU started to get very loud, but the temperature is low. The fan would reach 3000rpm from the second I turned the PC on and would not stop at all. I have tried everything:-

1. Display Driver Uninstaller
2. AMD Cleanup Utility
3. Took apart the GPU and cleaned it and applied fresh thermal paste.
4. Took apart the fan and cleaned it and greased it too.
5. Moved it to the other PCIe slot.
6. Removed CMOS
7. Installed older drivers, and new drivers, no difference.

To be honest I am not sure if this is a software driver issue or a hardware issue. I did notice that the fan would slow down to normal for a short while installing new drivers but eventually, it would go up to 3000rpm.

Any suggestions? The GPU is working fine. I am also wondering where is the temperature sensor.

Can anyone suggest a place to replace the front glass panel for my Samsung S10e? The LCD is not damaged, just the glass. I tried asking a few shops in SS15, everyone just wants to replace the LCD set costing RM650 and above.

HDD Recommendation and Where to Buy.

Hi everyone,

I urgently need to buy an HDD, my current 4TB WD Green is failing, and somehow managed to revive it. I think I will go for Seagate Barracuda 4TB (ST4000DM004) unless you can suggest something more reliable, maybe Toshiba? I need it for my TV shows and run games.

Now my second question, because of the MCO where to buy from that can deliver on the same day to Subang using Grab Delivery/Lalamove?

Please help.

For the past few days, Grab is being absolutely ridiculous. They are manipulating their own system to increase the fare or something is really wrong with the app.

1) Food paid for but not delivered
2) Tripling Fares
3) No cars accepting rides but can clearly see them driving around.

such a shame.

E-hailing NGO chief

QUOTE

Malaysian Grab Drivers Association president Arif Asyraf Ali. PIC BY AZHAR RAMLI
KUALA LUMPUR: Demand and availability were among the factors which led to delays in the e-hailing passenger pickup and price hikes over the past few days.

Malaysian Grab Drivers Association president Arif Asyraf Ali said the availability of drivers was a key factor in both issues.

He said if there were no drivers available in one area, one from another area would have to accept the pickup request.

“If a passenger books a ride from area B and there is no driver at that location, another driver from location A, which is far from the pickup point, has to pick up the passenger.

“Hence, the delay and passengers are forced to wait longer. Another factor that contributes to the delay is the traffic congestion at the area.

“Passengers have to understand that there were many complaints about the situation. Drivers have been trying their best to reach the location safely and on time,” he told the New Straits Times.

As for the fare hike, Arif said this was due to demand and availability of drivers, even during off-peak hours.

“Even if the pickup point is near, the fares may go up from RM5 to RM10. This is due to high demand during normal hours and fewer drivers being available during high demand.”

It was reported that e-hailing passengers in Klang Valley have been complaining about fare hikes and had to wait longer for their rides. They claimed that fares could increase as high as RM10.

E-hailing companies had previously raised concerns on the possibility of higher rates and pickup delays following the introduction of regulations that required e-hailing drivers to obtain public service vehicle (PSV) licences.

However, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that the deadline for drivers to obtain the PSV licence, which was on Friday, would be extended for another three months.

Despite the deadline extension, there are still fewer e-hailing drivers on the road.

Asked if drivers who have yet to obtain the PSV licence would take up courses to obtain it, Arif assured that 50,000 Grab drivers were willing to make the effort.

“They want to take the courses and obtain the licence. But some of them can only attend the driving course next month as there is not enough space in classroom sessions to accommodate the drivers. One class can accommodate 50 drivers. Grab Malaysia has been assisting them to attend classes on weekends,” he said, adding that the drivers who have yet to obtain the licence can carry out their business as usual for the next three months.

The grace period and “softer approach” was adopted by the Transport Ministry to give more time for the e-hailing drivers to meet the necessary requirements.

During the grace period, e-hailing drivers found operating without PSV licences would be educated, given advice and a final warning to meet the requirement.

Source

Absaloute horse shit! It is common knowledge at this point that they are manually hiking the prices. They are doing the exact same mistakes the budget taxis cronies did. People started using Grab becuase it was cheaper and convientant, but if they don't stop playing this Tom and Jerry game people will create or find an alternative!!

END OF RANT
HTML Email Signature

Hello Everyone,

First let me say how much I love this forum and how it has never let me down when I needed any kind of help.

I am posting this in hopes you guys can help me with HTML coding for my office's email signature. I basically created customized html email signatures for all the staff with a standardized images for marketing purposes (i.e festive greetings or exhibitions).

The way I did the coding was to have the images be in our server, so if there are any changes, I can change from my computer and it will appear in everyone email signature. So far so good.

Now here comes the issue, Outlook 2010 downloads the images into the PC and changes the coding in the html file to retrieve the images locally, making the images in the server useless.

My questions is why is outlook doing this and how to I prevent it from doing so? I will need outlook to constantly refer to the images in the server.

Finally I need to let you all know that I am a newbie, I am not a programmer nor the I.T guy in the office, it's sort of a hobby.

Hope you guys can help.

Can anyone point out where to find the freaken SARDINE FISH IMAGE?

Dear All,

I am currently planning to begin my new job somewhere in klang so i decided to move from where I currently live (Ampang) to the new location.

Going through iProperty and PropertyGuru I couldn't find many condominiums, mostly apartments but a lack of photos or decent furnishing. I will need to physically be in the neighborhood and see the property with my own eyes, hence why I need to guys to advise me.

My moving date is first week of December 2013, and can afford to pay RM 1500 to RM 2000 monthly, the occupants will just be me and my wife, no kids (yet) but my main concern is not so much the amenities, but decent living arrangement by having comfortable and modern furnishing with good security presence.

My new workplace(GOD WILLING) will be somewhere near Jalan Meru, so if you guys have better advice on a better location, please do share.

Thank you and hope to hear from you guys soon.

I have been going through them and there are no Telephone line jack in any of them, how would the setup be then to make and receive calls?

Currently the unifi technician just gets the cable straight from outside into the modem and then it splits into my phone.
