Hi all, anyone crossing with photostat geran before? I have forgotten whether I have tried before or not, coz recent years all I'm going with original geran only.. Now I'm with new bike without ori geran.. Is it can straight enter with photostat, or do I need to chop it at police station near there 1st? Like Betong I remember la, can chop at the balai 5mins before reaching border.. Thanks in advance..

Item(s) conditions: Cosmetic around 8.5/10.. PROBLEMS :
1) Front cam can't open & rear cam can't zoom or else phone will crash.. But after I factory reset, camera working again. But I can't promise it will be fine, so let's treat it as faulty.
2) Very weak and unstable Internet & Network coverage. Line usually max at 3-4bars only in great coverage area. So if at not so good coverage area will be 1bar or no line. Most of the time can't make or receive call coz when use, line will drop. WiFi no problem.
3) Screen got ghost effect. Same like screen burn, but will be gone in few minutes. Have checked online that this problem is defect of V20 models. Many users complaining same problems.

What's the use?: Can use with wifi at home or office. Convenient coz battery is removable and charged externally. Can use as music player as it is equipped with Hi-fi Quad DAC and tuned by B&O. Can be used as spared part.

Valve clearance problem or spark plug?

Story a little long. It all started after I did valve clearance and changed my spark plug.

1) Few days after done like above mentioned, I tried to hit top speed to see if there's any different. Previously (even in gear 6) power go all the way up until 190+, then can slowly climb to 205. But now just can go until 18x. Even drop to gear 5 still can't reach 190. And my bike dies quite frequent when rolling slow + press clutch. So I contacted the mechanic and he suggest maybe the new plug problem. So he claim warranty for me.

2) After done claim the plug, I straight away try the top speed. For the 1st day it's fine to reach previous top. But then the handle start to shake when reach around 150 (7k rpm) (the shakiness feel is like not enough power). So I thought maybe I didn't ride for too long due to MCO hence I forgot the riding feels. But now after 2 weeks started working, I still feels the vibration, which means it's nothing to do with me long time never ride. And when I try another top speed run, again I can't reach 190. And worse, in same riding situation, I need to drop gear lower than before due to loss of power in all range.

3) I have lost confident with the mechanic, so I called up another to ask. I was told to drop over for a compression test (I have no idea what it is). So hopefully anyone faced and solved same situation before that can help me clarify. And should I go for the test and what is the test like? Because it's been 2months I have no salary and this month start working but salary cut to half. So if possible would like to save some $$.

** I'm not a racing kaki, only once in 1 or 2 month throttle a little if got chance to get an open staright road. So please don't kecam me...

Hello fellow riders. Continued from my previous question, I have made up my mind for z1000sx. But a bit change of plan is I might trade in my er6n, so I will need to know how much difference on the parts and maintenance? I mean like common issues or extra care needed? And price of wear and tear parts? Already know the difference of eo change and tires... So I can roughly calculate to see which is more cost effective and decide whether or not to keep my current bike...

2nd question will be should I trade in my bike? If I traded in, then I just need to maintain 1 bike, can the $$ as DP so my monthly repayment lowered, and also most important only 1 insurance & road tax. Anyway, my house lack of parking space. So if I have both bike, one of it will need to keep in house and my house is pretty small...

Helmet type recommendation.

Hi, as a newbie can I ask which type of helmet is better for noise insulation ya? Am currently using a cheapo modular helmet from shopee because just bought bike, so need save some cash for accessories. So just temporary bought a cheap one and use. Personally like modular type more.

As I often cruise at 130kmh and above, I found the wind noise is very strong. As I'm about to get a proper helmet soon, so will be happy to know which type is better. Does the helmet type makes different?Anyway, budget around 1k only. Wasn't really that much, but I think should be enough to get a decent one already right? Hopefully can get one that can keep me satisfy so can save on upgrading. Thanks in advanced.

As a new biker, I have finally chosen this Saddle Bags for the extra storage. The reason I choose this is because it doesn't require any frame to support the bags, so it doesn't affect the outlook of the bike when removed. Furthermore, it's quite cheap... It does it job as expected and I am happy for 2 weeks. However, just noticed it is tearing up at the buckle side today.

The built quality is just so disappointing... Both side of the bags is breaking in exact. As I can't see any quality review as I have googled before, so I just trying to share here. To be honest, I really like the concept and the outlook of the product. But the quality is a big NO. Not sure if it's my item problem, by I really wouldn't recommend anyone to get this even though it's quite cheap. No point of wasting money. Kawasaki aftermarket gear indicator

As topic, recently bought an aftermarket gear indicator, but it only show neutral and gear 1. Higher gear totally no respond. Anyone face similar problem before? Still waiting explanation from seller, but hope to troubleshoot it myself if can. And if it matters, I install it on er6n 2008. Just plug and play, so I assume is it the indicator spoilt?

Hello fellow rider, use this old post to edit as it is quite revelant and don't wish to follow with new topic. As per title, how important is valve clearance? Finally bring my bike to workshop for VC coz planned to do a long ride (800km one way) soon. I went to a Kawasaki specialist centre. Was told that the owner was ex Kawasaki mechanic for 20+years before.

Surprisingly, he told me why not do VC after back from my trip. I previously heard from other rider that might risk blow of piston if too long never vc. But from this mechanic, he said it will only affect bike startup and timing only. So it is OK to still ride as my bike doesn't have any symptoms of it. Anyone with proven right info? Still consider new rider here, so thanks in advance for help...
