Any recommendations for not so mainstream bars that are not too crowded or too noisy on Friday or weekend evenings?

Looking for a cosy hangout that avoids the fusses of the masses. Do share from your experience.

Alternator? OR Other AirCond Problems?

Car: Proton Wira 1.5, VDO, Fuel Injection.

The problem with my car can be explained in the following scenario:

1. When car is idling, A/C off, battery voltage = 14.2V

2. When car is idling, A/C off, headlights etc on, battery voltage = 14.0V

3. When car is idling, A/C on, others all on, battery voltage = (16.x-17.x)V!!! (Even when A/C turned off, problem continues once A/C was turned on)

When no. 3 occurs, despite battery reading such high voltage, lights are dim unless i rev the engine then lights go normal. Very noticeable drop in car's power when A/C is on. If i do not turn on the A/C at all when driving, the problem will not occur.

My question is, what could cause this weird problem? Is it a faulty alternator or is it something to do with the A/C (AirCond) system?

Be a caring brother, give your input if you have any.

P.S: Car's AC was leaking gas previously about 6 months ago, fixed but possibly still leaking due to poor workmanship (but that's another story for another day).

WTA: Online Name Transfer MYEG

I understand that there's a few threads related to name transfer done at jpj counters, and i have read them. However, i would like to ask if anyone has personally used MYEG's 1MID system for online transfer?

Would like to verify, for individual seller to individual buyer, are these steps correct?

1. Buyer views the car
2. Buyer likes it, pays deposit
3. Seller sends car to PUSPAKOM for inspection (B5)

4. Once done, buyer pays FULL AMOUNT for car
5. Seller and buyer exchanges signed indemnity letters
6. Seller passes car keys and car to buyer

7. Seller proceeds to do name transfer online via MYEG
8. Buyer then completes his side via MYEG (provided both parties have done the 1MID registration at JPJ)
9. Once all is complete, seller mails the Geran to the new car owner.

Can anyone verify if these steps are in the right order? And also if the online name transfer would not require both parties to be present at the same time at JPJ offices?

Accident in KL, hit & run

Hi all LYN forum forumers,

I just met with an accident earlier along Jalan tun razak. The person who hit me tried to run, but I managed to get a picture of the offender's lorry. Can I ask,

1 which police station should I report this to?
2 are there any steps/procedures I should follow before, during and after the report?
