Mouse and speakers needed for school

hi..i'm a teacher at one of the island in penang
which has a school on it
just trying my luck here
we are short of mouse and speakers for our computers here
i already contribute some but most of the supplied items have been damaged by rats (suprisingly)
the rats problem alredi solved but we did try our best by fixing the mouse with ducktape
still the cured mouse wasn't enough
my school is small which occupies only 39 pupils
it is more than enough if we can get 6 mouse and 6 speakers (there are only 6 computers in our computer room)
so..i hope any kind soul here can help to contribute

Help needed to set up linksys (modem+wireless)

hi..me just bought a linksys wireless g + modem
sorry i forgot which series (its without antenna one)
here's the problem :

first time setup using the cd..all seems well until..
at the gateway = it cant detect
always got error say cable not connect
but i check all cables are connected

done all these methods :
restart laptop
disconnect and connect cables
restart linksys modem + wireless
restart setup
all failed with same result

so sifu..is there any other methods to get the gateway
its my first time setup a modem + wireless router

Vista : Black screen of death..!

well..to keep things short..

black screen of death = after vista loading, the screen turn black and only pointer available, happen everytime you restart..cant click a thing but if you press shift 5 times..sticky keys will appear

make things worst = CTRL+ALT+DEL will not show task manager, any safe mode and repair will come to the same black screen and cant restore (no restore point) only i can enter regedit.

even there are many ways shown in internet for solution..none ever worked..because the problem here is with the shell in hkey (regedit) which it should be explorer.exe but mine "cmd /k start cmd" something like that. When you rename it to explorer, upon restart it will change back to its previous command.

i think only one solution left..try to rewrite/reinstall the damage file in vista like in windows xp..but in vista its different..i dunno which vista version cd that can do that (mine Home Premium). As u know nowadays laptop provider will not give u the original windows cd.

So sifus out there..can u help me out in this prob..please dont give suggestions like change os, reformat or damaged hardware..the thing is something wrong with winlogon so how to retrieve it back..tq in advance for any suggestion
