Megadosing Fish Oil

i think most of us are well aware of the benefits of fish oil so i won't give you any further reasons to start taking them if you already haven't.

there was an article that i stumbled across and contains poliquin's recommendation to consume 30-45g of fish oil for 4 weeks and then cut that amount by half. by doing so, you increase the efficacy (that should be the right term) thus speeding up the benefits that most of you are already aware of.

i personally have only been taking total EPA/DHA of 3.6g a day and i can't actually say that my joints feel better than when i wasn't taking them at all which brings me to my little experiment over the next 8 weeks of megadosing as per poliquin's recommendation.

i'll be hitting the pharmacy later today to pick up a bottle of fish oil as taking this 30g in capsule form will be a pain in the ass and not to mention a choking hazard!

logically, one would prefer to split up the consumption of to maybe 5 times throughout the day, about a tablespoon of fish oil should be sufficient per dose because when in liquid form, it's usually more potent than in capsule.

anyone willing to hop on the bandwagon for this little experiment and see what happens? or, if anyone has already tried this amount, do post your positives and/or negatives that you faced.

Soy Based Products

just a discussion on the effects of soy based protein on testosterone levels in both males and females. though i believe mostly will be responses by male individuals, healthy and open discussion is appreciated.

do you think that soy based products reduce testosterone production in males?

my current understanding from the literature i've read is that it does.

let's take a look at japan which i believe has a diet that is rich in soy based foods. could this be the reason why japanese males tend to be androgenous due to much lower testosterone?

Purchasing Acer Laptop Component.

hi all,

my ferrari 4002 has got a now faulty audio board.

i've called acer tech support and apparently they do NOT sell internal laptop components to the end user.

here's a breakdown of the part, labor and working period:

RM38 for the audio board
RM100 for labour
RM40-60 if i choose for a pickup service

and finally, 4-5 working days to swap the faulty audio board.

now, i am capable of changing the component myself (at my own risk, i clearly understand that) and do not think RM100 is actually worth being paid for the labor.

i digress.

what i'd like to know if there's anyone who could assist me, someone working in acer's tech department that could purchase LEGITIMATELY the following part:

ZF3 Audio/B Assy S.P. (audioboard)
Part NO. : 55.FR4V7.003

if anyone can help me out, pls do PM or reply to this thread and i'll gladly call you back.

either way, i can be contacted at 016.274.63.97

thanks.

Nick.
