Hello! I'm helping my friend to install windows 7 & microsoft office 2010 for new PCs in his office. Planning to buy Windows 7 Starter & Microsoft Office 2010 Home Edition. So, is it legal to use this license for office use? Hope somebody can answer me this. Thank you.

Dear all forumer.. I'm posting this topic on behalf of my sister. She got RM15k for the downpayment and wanted to do 7 years installment.
Between these two cars (swift and persona), which one is the best in terms of price, monthly installment, FC, maintenance, durability and etc?
The price diff is RM17k! Which one is worth buying? Please give opinion and recommendation with reasons. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

1st choice: Suzuki Swift
2nd choice: Persona

[WTA] Hardisk corrupted

Hi fellow lyn forumers, i got a corrupted external hardisk. When i plug in to my pc, it can be detect but i'm not able to format it and windows can't identify the drive format. The hardisk not even 1 year yet. The warranty is already void coz i sent the hardisk for data recovery. Do you know where can i send the hardisk for repair? How much is the charges? Thank you.

[WTA] How to claim warranty without receipt

I got a prob here. I bought a hardisk last year from 1 of the shop in LYP. Suddenly the hardisk got prob n corrupted. Wanted to claim for warranty but the prob is i lost the receipt. The age of the hardisk havent reach 1 year yet. So can i claim warranty without the receipt? Do the shop still keep the record of purchase coz i remember the date that i bought the hardisk?

Guys.. I need help.. I just formatted my Presario V3337TU (intel). The problem is when i tried to install the driver for audio & modem & also network, it cant recognize. I downloaded the driver from the compaq official website. Can sumbody help me to solve this prob?

I am using LG L196WTQ. I have 2 question here.

1. Since i'm using my new LCD, i suffer from eye strain n headache when i'm using it at nite (means i need to switch on the lite). How to overcome this? Does this because of the display setting? I heard that contrast ratio thingy cause this prob.
2. How to calibrate the color?? The font color in the Yahoo Messenger looks a bit greenish which suppose to be black in color.

Hi guys.. I planning to buy a 19" LCD monitor tomorrow (either Samsung 940BW 19" or Viewsonic VA1926 19") . Can u recommend me which LCD is better in terms of color, graphic quality, sharpness, etc. I'm using it for normal gaming (Dota & CS), photo editing, and webdesign. Pls give some comment or reason. Tq.

Hi guys.. I need some help.. My fren just bought a new pc n i help him installing the Windows XP. This is the pc spec:

AMD X2 4200+ 2.2Ghz
Mobo Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2
W.Digital 160GB SATA
Kingston 667Mhz 1Gx2
LG DVDRW SATA

The prob is i dont know whether i installed the windows correctly coz this is the 1st time i saw 'the hardisk' n the 'dvd writer' safely removed icon at the icon tray. I had done a lots of windows xp installation but never saw this thing.
Refer to this pic ( look at the lower right hand side, there is safely removed hardware for the hardisk n dvdrw)

Did i correctly installed the windows? 1 more, is it because i didnt install the sata driver during the XP installation (press F6 bla bla bla)? FYI, I enable SATA in bios.
Is it normal?
Can i removed them from the 'safely removed hardware' list?
Pls help me!!!

My fren wanted to buy a pc. Anyone can recommend me a good cpu spec which cost around rm1300 not including the monitor. For normal gaming and surfing.
