Intel Motherboard+Coolermaster case BOOT PROBLEM

Hi guys, i bought a brand new Cooler Master Elite 335 case and Intel dh67cl motherboard.(and some other parts)

As soon as i assembled up the essential parts, i pushed the power button. (the "standby" light on the motherboard was up)
Both the processor fan and PSU fan started running for HALF A SECOND, then everything stopped.

Nothing would happen if i press the power button again. unless if i switch the PSU off and on (which if i pressed the power button again after that, it repeats the same thing of the fan running for half a second before stopping.).

What could be causing this problem?

Oh, if you wanted to know some of my other parts..
Ram: Kingston 4gb 1333 x1
PSU: CoolerMaster GX 550W
Processor: Intel i5 2400 LGA1155

Which motherboard can I fit these parts in?

I chose these:

-NVIDIA GTS 450
-Intel i5 2400

And I was wondering if I could use your help to choose a good, cheap(around RM 250 - RM350) motherboard that could fit those parts I mentioned.

Thanks alot!
