Note 8 Expansion Memory Card Issue

I just bought a Sandisk Ultra microSDXC 128gb for my Samsung Note 8 and dont know why it doesn't seem to work. Below are the issues

1. I backup all the file in my old 64gb MicroSD card into my pc
2. I then connect the new card to my computer. It prompted me to format. I copy everything to the card
3. I then insert the new card into my samsung Note8, the phone ask me to format the new card before it can be used. If format, then all the file that I copy in will be gone. Tak apa lar, format and copy again.
4. When format finished, i connect my phone directly with my PC with the card inside the phone. However, I cant copy anything into the card using this way as well.
5. Another funny thing is that after I disconnect the phone from the PC, my phone now cannot read the XD Card. I take out the XD card and connect it to PC again using adapter and it ask me to format again. Same then then happen like what I mentioned above.

Does this mean the Sandisk Ultra microSDXC is not compatible with my Note8 or the card itself is faulty? I ask the seller (via shopee) and he diam saja.

PC with Home Theater Setup

My gaming room setup as per below

1. PC with 4K Monitor
2. Denon X550BT receiver
3. KEF E305 5.1

I connect my CPU to the receiver using HDMI for sound and then the CPU to my monitor using DPI for Visual. The setting on PC is using 5.1 speaker setup but when I play movie especially those with 4K quality and sound, I dont really feel the oomph. Surround is super weak. Can any sifu here advice what I need to do? Spend close to 30k on the PC and another 8k on the sound system. Thanks in advance.

I more or less confirm the spec that I want and the only thing I am still struggling to choose is Monitor. This gaming rig is for Playing Games, watching movies and drama series. Watch a lot of youtube as well.

1. Game type: MMORPG, Action RPG, Simulation and city building game. I dont play FPS at all. Will connect this monitor to Console as well.
2. I will connect my PC to my Home Theater as well for 5.1 setup.

For my requirement, which type of monitor best serve my needs? Ultrawide Curve or 4K?

Is this gaming build ok?

I am going to customize myself a gaming PC and after doing a bit of study, below are what I intend to buy. Please advice whether such combination ok or not.

i9 CPU
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master
Any RTX 2070 series GPU
Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3200mhz
Samsung 1TB SSD EVO SATA III
Thermaltake View 71/Phateks Enthoo Pro
Gamdias 750 / Corsair 850x
2TB Harddisk
4K Gaming Monitor

I still dont know whether I will need any cooling system or not. Also, for audio, I will connect it to my AV Receiver/Amplifier for a full 5.1 Surround System through SPDIF. Kindly find below my surround system setup.

I will connect my PC to Monitor using DisplayPort and then using Digital Output to connect it to Denon for Audio. Dont know whether workable or not. Thanks in advance for any advice from sifu in this forum.......

Is KEF speaker KEF T105 5.1 Speaker System set good? As for AMP, i am going to use Denon AVR-X550BT 5.2CH Av Receiver. Plan to get these for my new house living hall. Then, my small entertainment room will use Creative Katana soundbar for PC and PS4. Wonder anyone used KEF system here and can give honest review? What about Katana? Anyone can review?

Djokovic won AO19 and he holds the record of being the only player that holds 3 grand slams simultaneously 3 times. He is also the only one that holds all 4 grand slam at the same time in the open era. As for Head to Head record, he is ahead of both Federer and Nadal. Wait.... one more. He is the only player that win all 1000 series at least one time. With all these record, people STILL only talk about how great Federer is, how super Nadal is. Sigh....... Why cant people just give credit to Djokovic? He also help those low ranking player in getting more prize money so that they can survive. Federer and Nadal tak kisah langsung on those low rank player.

TV vs PC Monitor

I am considering upgrade my gaming monitor to 4k monitor. 4k TV now quite cheap. 2k plus can get a decent one already but can it be used for PC? i know it can be used for PS4 lar. But PC? If it can be used, then its a cheaper alternative IF compared to 4k PC Monitor right?

I have a budget of RM8k to customize my gaming PC. As a PC noob, please help me decide. I am going to use this PC for at least 3 years playing RPG and Strategy Games at the highest graphic setting. At the same time, I will get myself a very good speaker (to be shared with PS4). Can such speaker be shared between PC and PS4? Any recommendation on a good speaker is welcome as well.

Life is super tough now. Not only we have to ikat perut due to inflation, now had to jaga boss punya feeling so that we can keep our job. Cannot simply resign as its super tough to find a new job now. My friend simply resign because cannot tahan his boss. Now, 7mths already and STILL looking for job.

I just received a contradicting instruction from my superior on certain task. When I asked her how to execute, she just scream at me asking me to following her instruction. BUT how to execute her contradicting instruction? Its like asking me to order mee goreng BUT had to ensure its not goreng. Apa lar.....

Do you all agree that Asia country still see age as one important factor to hire OR to promote?

My cousin (age 39) recently being passed over by his company for a promotion that he has been eyeing for quite some time. He has all the experience and knowhow BUT his company deemed him too young to hold such position (Division Head). They feel that other employee (Older folks) will not feel balance OR happy reporting OR having a peers of such age. They also fear my cousin might not have the maturity to handle certain critical matters. They do acknowledge the fact that my cousin has the required experience & knowledge to do the job well. Just the age factor.

So, what do the company do? Hire one old guy to manage the division. He does not really know all functions and job scope of the division that he suppose to manage BUT never mind, he got the job because he is at the right age to manage the division. Things that he dont know, he can learn OR get his subordinate to do it.

My cousin felt that he was treated unfairly as he cant control his age and being passed over to a promotion due to such reason was not right. So, he go look around looking for new opportunity. Head hunters manage to find him few interviews and guess what.... Most company that he went for interview mostly feel that he is too young for the position that they want to hire. Walau eh....... If one person has the knowledge and experience, why is age the deterrent factor?

Since I am still a lowly senior executive, I really dont understand the reasoning behind this. If France can have a 40 years old President, why cant a company have a 39 years old HOD.

Its so hard to impact changes in a company

One of my company's director just resigned. I was told by my colleague that he was hired to transform the business and prepare the company for the future. When he joined, banyak ideas and methods in improving the current way of doing business. Probably he was a bit too aggressive and want to impact change FAST and offend a lot of old timers. If you ask me, those old timers really goyang kaki everyday and already too comfortable with their working life. They need to change. If not, company sure kantoi. I think this is the reason why the Managing Director want someone new to look at how to transform.

Unfortunately, the whole transformation thingy fail. Those old timers hold key position in different department and their gang leader is someone close to 30 years in the company. The gang start spreading rumours that the new director did not have the support of his subordinate lar, did not have a good plan lar, dont know anything lar, bla bla bla. They even go to the extend of sabotaging his work. All of these with the intention of kicking him out so that they can go back to their carefree life.

After only 1 year with the company, the director tak boleh tahan and tender resignation. Even after he leaves, the leader of the gang STILL talk bad about this director. Office politic really scary. I am now still small potatoes and did not really feel it yet. Have to start toughen myself to prepare for the future oredi.

My aunt's friend want to sell her unit at eve suite. She offer to my mum at 720k for 1065sqf fully furnished. When I check at iprops, majority wanna sell from 750k and above. So, is it worth it since the offer sounds like a good one as it's below market price.

My cousin recent became the topic of discussion among my family. He treat his wife like maid and torture her mentally to the extend his wife now diagnose with depression. They married young (both 18 yrs old) and you all should know the reason why youngster getting married nowadays. My cousin quite handsome BUT has a very foul attitude. Always angry and I dont know why. He thought he is Chan Hou Nam of Young and Dangerous and whenever we met, he will wear a face like we all owe him 100m.

His mother recently called my mum to seek advice how to help "the wife" recover from depression. When my mum asked what happen, my aunt cry and said his son torture his wife on a daily basis.

1. Never give his wife money and YET request money from his wife on a daily basis
2. Never care for the baby
3. Fool around outside and get caught a few times AND yet still said those lady seduce him
4. Never help with household chores and will scold the wife IF she did not do her household chore properly
5. Gamble heavily and always need his wife to tanggung the debt

I really dont understand why certain men wants to treat their wife in such manners. That is the woman that is going to be by your side till the end of time. Shouldn't we men protect and love them? Walau eh... I really dont understand. If I can fight like Bruce Lee OR as rich as Bill Gates, I will certainly teach these type of people a lesson.
