PC turn on for a few seconds and turn off

Hi sifus,

Recently I got a problem with my PC. It turned on but, after a few hours it will turn off. So I try to change the PSU plug and reconnect the PSU connector and then it seems to be working fine.
Last two days, it only turned on for a few seconds and turned off. The motherboard light still turned on.
Is the motherboard at fault here or the PSU? I check the motherboard for any bad caps but can't found any. Is there any solution or suggestion?

MY PC Spec:
Asus P8Z68-V
Intel Core i5
Asus Radeon HD 6670 1GB
8GB RAM
AVF 750W PSU

HELP Desktop problem!

This morning my college got power outage. After the power back on, my PC, monitor & speaker won't turn on even the electricity was up and running again.
I took my speaker to my friend's room hoping that it just the plug at my room that was faulty, but it won't turn on too. So, I confirmed that it was a short circuit. I changed the PSU on my PC and it seems to work just fine.Lucky it was not the motherboard that was at fault. The problem is I think the monitor fried. If, I bring it to repair shop, how much does it cost? Would I able to repair it on my own?
