Hi all, i have a pioneer HU for number of years now.

the problem i noticed, i need to crank my volume level almost half to output a decent level of sound. the levels are 0-60+ i think.. now for normal easy listening i would go around 25-30ish.. if i want make some noise then its around 32-38ish.. then right about 43-45 speakers sound start to distort n clipped..

my setup is simple, just HU (50wx4) to component speaker (dont remember how many ohm n the nom n max rate for the midbass).. no rear no sub no amp..

what is the problem n what solution would i need.
worn out HU? change HU?
add pre-amp?
add 2ch amp?

I need to do a banner 2ft X 6ft size.
When i do in photoshop should i do real exact size of i just scale it down...?
Cuz, if real exact size for 2x6 is huge.... plus with 200DPI.. ow my PSD file is around 650MB....
Would it be pixelated if i do it in smaller scale..?
Please someone enlighten me... Assignment due tuesday...

Need help/guide on fan controller

I have a 12cm fan... And it is very fast and also screaming very loud... Louder than vizo's windstorm...
My mobo detected around 5000rpm... but i really think it does twice of that speed... maybe....
I found that those normal fan controller some forumer sell just doesn't cut it for the job... it literally crippled the fan speed to only 20-30%.. which is even on full speed it still spin slower than normal silent 12cm fan...
I guessed that mine are industrial purposes cooling fan...
It can reduce my temperature 10°C +/-...
So that is my story.

Now... I'm not that good at electrical stuff, but i still know few tricks...
So, What shall i do to regulate or control the speed/voltage so i can control the speed..?
Should i buy those wall socket light dimmer..? will it works..?
Btw, this fan have 4 wire... Normally we get RED, BLACK & YELLOW... but i have another BLUE wire...

P/S: I'm forced to wear headphone....

Guys, I need some infos or recommendation for a laptop that have dedicated graphic memory..
As for the price range.. later after review some off the recommended that maybe i can break down to certain amount.. well if i put too high price it will be an overkill.. if i put to low then it would be silly on me...
So... lets round up some dedicated graphic memory laptops....
DELL? Asus? HP? Toshiba? others..? certainly not alienware please...

What should i get..?
Proc - Quad or C2D..?
Motherboard - P35..?
RAM - DDR2 800, 2GB or 4GB(afaik, XP can detect until 3.5gb)..?

HDD - Depends on leftover budget..
LCD - Depends on lefover budget..
Casing - Normal casing just fine..

As we know. f4L doesnt include tripod mount ring for this Luxury lens..
so guys, Canon Tripod Mount Ring A-2.
Which is very costly for small item.. around 500 bucks...

But, after doing some surfing.. i bumped into this ebay seller base in HK.. ROXSEN. Where sell a 3rd party mount ring at price 4x cheaper..

What do you think... Anyone interested..?

I dont feel my lens's sharpness... What happen..?

Hmm.. bought 70-200 F4L & 50 F1.8..
Suddenly i feel something is not right.. should it be this sharp or my camera needs to be send it for calibration..

How can i check myself if the lens or camera is suppose to sharp as it supposed to be..?

Well.. after much played around with my 400D + kitty lens.. I've come to realise... I need more powerful lens...
So.. After much browsing n reading on ppl opnion n experiences... I've decided to select this two lenses my cart list...

An EF 70-200mm f/4L USM & an EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
(ITS WHITE n ITS L...!!! )

Well i like to shoot almost anything.. landscape, still shots, street photography, potraits (maybe after gotten this lenses), candids & macros too..

So any last minute advise from any user of this lenses...
OR perhaps share with me were to get this lenses at very good price..... Everybody love cheap good stuff...
