I would like to schedule for Grabcar advance booking to airport. But I noticed the schedule option/button is no longer available. I tried all the cars type, but none of them can do advance booking.

Did I miss out on something? Or is the feature removed?

Getting Vaccination from Clinic

Referring to the recent announcement by government on getting clinics to provide vaccination.

Are we allow to go to those respective clinic that is tasked to provide vaccination by government ourselves for the jab?

Or we still required to register through MySejahtera? And through MySejahtera they will assigned us to the clinic?

Water Bill For Service Apartments

Hi,

Normally I received a monthly water bill from the management (service apartment). But last month, I received a bill from IndahWater, with a monthly fix charges of RM8.

Can I know what is the difference between the 2 bill? Why there is 2 party charging the water bill?

I keep seeing this at my balcony, even after I clean it up. I even tried using lizard repellent. But few days later is there again. Are these poop from lizard? Any idea how to chase them away?

Recirculating Type Cooking Hood Installation

Hi All,

I recently installed a recirculating type cooking hood, without any ducting to outdoor. The hood is build into wall hung cabinet with a door.

I find that the cooking hood blow out the circulated air inside the cabinet, and the force of the circulated air push open the cabinet door slightly.

This causes the air blow back out of the cabinet, which makes it uncomfortable when you are standing and cooking in front of it.

I am thinking to put some cardboard inside the cabinet (right after the cabinet door) to seal off the space so that the circulated air doesn't hit the door and blow open the door.

Will this actually be safe or correct? Is kind of like trying to trap the air without letting it out of the cabinet?

Any advice?

Decoder IR Sensor

Hi,

I would like to connect an IR transmitter to the astro decoder for an extended TV, in order to change channel from the extended TV. There is one IR transmitter and one IR Receiver.

I need to position the IR transmitter in-front of the astro decoder, so that the IR receiver signal from the extended TV can "trasmit" to the astro decoder.

However I could not locate where exactly is the "sensor/receiver" on the astro decoder. I tried position it below the "IR" wording, but doesn't seems transmitting the signal.

I was looking for either LG or Samsung, but can't seems to find any 60" UHD TV. Check a few shop, is either 55" or 65" in the market.

The only 60" I can find is Sharp.

Hi,

I plan to get a TV for my living room, is an apartment so is not that big in space. The distance from Sofa to TV (Wall to Wall) is 121 inches.

I am thinking either a 55" or 60" Wall Mount TV. I guess 55" is safe enough, but was wondering whether 60" will be too big (wide).

Any recommendation and input are appreciated.

Anyone did any comparison between this 2 water purifier brand before?

Cuckoo seems more popular/common, but Jik Soo seems like picking up the pace lately even through TV ad. And their price is competitive as well.

However I don't see any info on whether Jik Soo is "alkaline"?

Any idea or any verdict on pro and cons between the 2?

Joven Water Boiler/Heater

Hi,

I plan to install water-boiler/water-heater for my bathroom (master bedroom). Was looking at Joven.

The boiler will serve the sink and the rainshower in the toilet, will only use one at a time. Not simultaneous.

Will 25L be enough? Or do I need to get a 35L?

And will installing the boiler affect the water pressure from the rainshower?

Astro HD Output To Two TV

Hi,

I would like to split my Astro HD output into 2 TV, one in living room and one in master bedroom. Astro decoder will be in the living room. (not subscribing to Astro multiroom service)

Without the second decoder in the master bedroom , channel can be switch from the master bedroom.

Anyone currently having such setup at home? Would like to get some advice.

I come across some HDMI adapter that uses RJ45 to connect both the TV. Is that the ideal way?

Need advice on Kitchen Area

Hi All,

I would like get some opinion on placing the following:

1) Sink
2) Fridge
3) Cooking Hob

My unit is a condo, hence the space is quite limited.

Referring to the layout in blue:

A - Kitchen area
B - Plan to custom built a table top
C - Currently empty

I am contemplating whether to place either the sink/cooking hob at the yard (Area C). Reason being:
1) Felt that sink and cooking hob should be in the same area for cooking convenient.
2) Doesn't feel so right to have a cooking hob in the yard, place where you store your dirty stuff or dry the clothes. (Felt like cooking at a not so clean area)
3) And if the sink is at the yard (Area C), I will need to wash and bring the plates..etc in and out from yard to kitchen area for storage back to the cabinet/cooking.

And if I were to either place the sink/cooking hob at Area B:
1) It will splash of water/dirty the dining area, or inconvenient if there are people sitting at the dining area.

As for fridge If I were to place it at Area A, it will took up half the space. And it will need to be shared with either a sink/cooking hob. And it will be very cramped.

Another option will be move the Fridge to Area B and, so that I will have Area A totally free (75 inch). Then left the question whether should I put the sink and cooking hob side by side at Area A? Or still move one of them to the yard (Area C)?

How would you do it? Any advice?

I would like seek for some clarification/advice on Astro IPTV:

1) Is there HD quality difference between Astro using satellite dish compare to Astro IPTV?

2) Can ASTRO IPTV package work with TIME broadband package separately. Meaning I don't subscribe to Astro broadband option? Reason being under Astro subscription package, the broadband Astro offer is 10Mbps @ RM148. However TIME broadband package is 100Mbps @ RM99.

IIS - Spam Mail in Queue Folder

Hi All,

I am running on Win Server 2003.

I just found out that in my C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue folder, there are over 700 *.EML files in it and this is still increasing. From the Windows Event Viewer, I can also see a lot of Event ID 4006 logged.

When I open the *.EML file, I notice the content is a spam. The Sender and Receiver is not from my domain. So it seems using my IIS SMTP service to send out SPAM emails.

Is there any idea how this has happened? And anyway I can trace this down and resolve this?

I ran a Malware scan, but doesn't show any suspicious infection.

Any idea?
