Possible to Have 2 Maybank Debit Cards...

Hi,

Wanna check if anyone has the experience of having 2 debit cards (1 Visa & 1 MasterCard) with Maybank? I have a saving and a current account with them.

The reason is currently I'm having the Visa debit card but sometimes they do have promotions for their MasterCard only. And debit card is better than credit card since no need SST or any minimum spending for annual fee waiver.

Would like to seek advice from our members from east coast, what's the expected weather in the month of February? As I understood normally the monsoon season is until March, but from the online weather check., it seems that the month of February has the lowest rainfall in the whole year. So not too sure which one is correct, appreciate your info.

Heart Screening Questions

Hi all,

Planning to get a regular heart screening, just to know the condition of my heart as AFAIK so far don't have any heart related symptoms yet (touch wood).

Came across this package from Maaedicare, the price looks quite reasonable if comparing to the other hospitals. Would like to see if anyone has any experience with them?

Also in the package, there are 3 optional items: chest x-ray, troponin and ECG. Would like to ask if it's necessary to add any of these into the screening?

Maybank2U Own Account Transfer

Today did an own account transfer and was prompt for the Secure2U verification. Previously don't need this step.

Is it a new requirement from Maybank? Just wondering if it's possible to disable this for own account transfer?

Would like to ask, for the Maxis RM89 15 days roaming pass across UK and European countries, do we need to fix it to a specific telco when roaming at each country? Coz in the Maxis app, I see they did list out the telcos for each country. So would like to know, will Maxis SIM card automatically connect to those specific telcos? Or we need to do it manually?

Reading Glasses Question

Hi, wanna ask about those low power (100-150) reading glasses. Currently I'm using those from Daiso for reading small prints documents.

Just wondering if those cheap glasses with frame under promotions by shops (RM48/68/88 etc.) will provide a better and more comfortable glasses than those from Daiso? Or any specific type of lens that I need to consider for reading glasses?

From Google I see there's a multi-storey parking being built in front of UTC Keramat, but not sure if it's already in operation?

Looking for a budget 70" TV, mainly just for watching Youtube purpose. Existing 65" Sony TV just spoilt with no image.

Browsing through Shopee/Lazada and at the budget of around 3k, I see options of Sharp 4TC70DK1X vs Sharp 4TC70DL1X vs Hisense 70A6100K.

Would like to see if there's any users of the above models here that can give some comments? Or if there are other better options at this price point?

New Xiaomi TV but Faulty Screen

Hi, I got this new Xiaomi TV like 3 to 4 years ago but kept it new in box untill recently wanted to use it. Upon fixing up, it was ok at the beginning but after a day the screen becane faulty as per the picture below.

Just would like to check, if it's due to the LCD panel or the PCB? And if it's fixable, roughly how much will it costs?

Say I want to have more privacy and comfort space, I buy 2 tickets but with only myself traveling. The other ticket will be considered as "no show" I guess? So will the ticket be still valid for me to keep the seat or the seat will be opened for others to buy?

Panasonic Front Load Washer Error Code U13

My mother's Panasonic front load washer is giving out this error now in every wash. I'm sure it's not due to the cloth load coz it happens during each wash, doesn't matter low or hi load. And it only happens during the final spin dry cycle during high rpm, where I can feel that something is wrong with the machine due to some noise and high vibration.

So just wondering if anyone repairs this before? And if it's worth to do so? If it's too expensive like above RM500 then I would rather buy a new washer.

Possible to Cut ACP at home?

I plan to fix some ventilation grills to my cabinet made from ACP, like the picture below. Just wondering if it's possible to cut the opening at the ACP by using those hand blade? As I think the aluminium skin should be quite thin and inside is just some plastic materials.

Curtain Space Requirement

I need to decide on the point for my CCTV. As per the picture below, I plant to put a full height double layer curtain (curtain + sheer) for my front sliding door (red line), and will have a CCTV point at the corner (blue circle). May I know how far (green arrow) shall I put the CCTV point away from the front wall? Is 8" (200mm) be enough for the curtain to move freely?

Kitchen Sink Drain Point Type

Hi, wanna find out, what type of drain connection is better for kitchen sink (stainless steel).

Is it ok to put a bottle trap for kitchen sink? As it might help to block the odour from the drain piping. But a bit worry that the food waste might clog it very fast and will require regular opening and cleaning then it will be troublesome.

Or shall I just put a direct pipe connection? If direct connection, shall I use fixed PVC pipe or those flexible hose?

Low Power GU10 Bulb

Hi all,

May I know if anyone come across with low power GU10 bulbs? My light fitting comes with 3 slots for GU10, but I want to use it only as a night light.

The lowest so far I can find is 2W/230lm from Ikea, but it's still too bright with 3 lamps on. Tried search online lazada/shopee/taobao but all seems to be higher than 230lm.

Help Needed - HDD from RAW to NTFS

Hi all,

I accidentally deleted the volume of my external HDD under the Disk Management screen, and now the external HDD become a RAW drive.

May I know if there's any simple way to recover the data by changing the RAW disk back to NTFS? So far from Google I can find are those recovery softwares which are quite expensive. Wanna see if there's any free way of doing this.
