PSV2 Residences, is it a good buy?

As per the title, can't find any info in the forum so decide to ask for advice. It is a project by Platinum Victory (PV), main con is Binastra.

Planning to buy for own stay, currently renting at Trion2 for RM2.3k monthly.

Priced at RM590k for 1313sqft, so RM450 psf. Maintenance + sinking fund is RM0.35 psf. Expected completion is late 2027 to mid 2028.

Located 7 mins walk away from TBS, facing the MRR2.

Only worried about the surrounding as I'm not familiar with the area, I surveyed a little, PSV2 is opposite PSV1, right next to it got SASAR, and across the highway got PPR. I think accessibility is okay, can access most of the major shopping malls and spots within 15-20mins.

Would the area and surrounding affordable projects impact the house value in the near future? Considering this in case I want to sell and move to a different area after 5 years.

Which Broadband to Sign Up for in Genting

Hi there,

I'm going for my internship at genting on 5th of October and I wanted to sign a broadband before going there.

Any sifus can recommend which broadband is best to use there? I am currently looking at Celcom's First Basic plan, RM68 per month, with 4GB quota. Previously I thought of getting the Umobile's RM68 plan, with free wifi device and 12GB quota but I heard speed will be very slow at Genting.

I dont know where I will stay yet, most probably those RSCs i think.

Where to build my gaming rig in Lowyat?

HDD: Seagate 2TB Baracuda
Motherboard: Asrock H97 Pro
Display card: Promotion Leadtek GTX970 + Plextor M65 128GB SSD RM1399
PSU: Seasonic S12II 80+ Bronze 620W
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
Casing: Corsair SPEC-01
OS: Windows 7 Basic 64bit

Idealtech said they need quite some time to build my rig and they offer almost no discounts, is there any shops in Lowyat that are good and I can nego with to get some discounts?

I am upgrading my pc next week and these are my choices:

Processor: Reusing current one - Intel i5-3450 @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs)
Ram: Reusing current - Corsair 4GB 1333Mhz + getting another Corsair 4GB 1333Mhz = RM139
HDD: Reusing current - Seagate 3.5" 1.5TB + getting WD Caviar Blue 1TB = RM174
Motherboard: Getting new one - Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H = RM349
Display card: Getting new one - Sapphire R9 280X Vapor X = RM979
PSU: Getting new one - Seasonic S12II 80+ Bronze 620W = RM299
Cooler: Getting new one - Cooler Master Hyper 103 = RM89
Casing: New one - Cooler Master K380 = RM150
Monitor: Getting a new one - Dell S2415H =RM699

Total price of RM2878 (including monitor)

I would rather not go over RM3000 as that is my maximum budget but please let me know if I can do my upgrade in better ways. Thanks.

EDIT:

Should I substitute my display card for MSI GTX970 for RM1299 and going for a different monitor (lets say HP's) for RM600 instead, for a different total price of RM3099? Will there be a bottleneck issue?

I am planning to watch the last installment of The Hobbit in IMAX 3D in December with my family. Just want to ask for suggestions on where to watch it. Should I go for Sunway Pyramid or 1 Utama? Or should I head over to GSC MAXX in Times Square?

First time watching in IMAX 3D so don't know which one offers the best experience and quality. Suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

My current specs are:

Processor: Intel i5-3450 @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs)
Ram: Corsair 4GB 1333Mhz
HDD: Seagate 3.5" 1.5TB
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LX
Display Card: Sapphire HD7750 1GB GDDR5
OS: Microsoft Window 7 Home Premium 64-bit
PSU: Not sure, some crappy one that comes with the casing

I am planning to upgrade this 2 years old computer by retaining the following:

Processor, HDD and Motherboard.

My upgrades would be:

Display Card: Sapphire R9 270X Toxic
Ram: Adding another Corsair Vengeance 4GB ram
PSU: Either Corsair VS650 or FSP Raider 650W
Casing: Not sure

I would need some help on which PSU and casing to choose from and whether my upgrade is okay. I am running at a tight budget of RM1.5k to RM1.7k. I am upgrading it so that I could run upcoming games on higher settings. I would also like to buy a 23" Monitor with that budget.
