Z97 MOBO recommendation

Hi all,

As stated i need recommendation for new mobo ,
i want to upgrade current mobo+cpu ,my rig still using z77 +lga 1155 cpu
i already decide to get i5 4590 for cpu. Now it comes down to mobo and considering theres too much model ,
i find it hard to decide. Here's the model i had in mind

-Asus Maximus VII Ranger
-Asus GRYPHON Z97
-Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7
-Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z97
-ASRock Z97 EXTREME6
-ASRock Fatal1ty Z97X KILLER
-MSI Z97 Gaming 7

Most of this cards are around the same price range, so i would like to ask your personal opinion especially those who owned any listed Mobo interms of durability,reliability,quality etc .
Not really hardcore gamers since less time for it but i still gaming from time to time with a good graphic setting (already owned palit jetstream gtx970 for now).
While i understand decision lies with me in the end, your opinion might contribute to the decision id make later .
About budget, let just say ill draw a line at 1.5 for both processor and mobo
Oh,also not really a fan of OC'ing.

[HELP] GPU not detected!

Hi guys,so here's the problem.

my computer was working fine yesterday until this morning when i tried to turn it on...
the monitor goes blank with no signal detected bouncing around. im using hdmi

i switch to onboard gpu which somehow works out the monitor display and shocked to see that my external gpu (amd hd7700)
have disappeared from device manager. same goes when i type dxdiag and windows rating also no longer detecting the gpu.

ive not modify any hardware related before it happens. and im pretty much sure have tried to disable igpu and set PCIe as default in BIOS with no avail.
the gpu looks like it works with fan spinning and such.

so what could possibly be the cause it and how can i fix this issues? i have no extra pc to test if my gpu is the culprit nor i have extra gpu to see if the mobo pcie slot is the cause.
kinda lost here

Hi, im currently surveying on 24inch monitor to replace my old one.

This is the details

-Size 24 inch
-Used for casual gaming (not hardcore gamers),watching movies etc
-Budget max 700

I have my eye on Dell S2440L and Samsung S24D390HL, though i'm not sure how it will goes with gaming.
Anyone who have any experience with said monitor? Or maybe can suggest any suitable model besides those two

Hello everyone

I wanted to ask some question regarding RAM

I have 4gb ram ddr3 with 1600 speed on my pc, recently I thought of adding up another 4gb same model (kingston hyper x = KHX1600C9D3/4G).
So I did, but my question is :

why the speed decrease to 1333 when I check it on my bios?
was it because im bridging both ram?
can I increase the speed manually? if so how much should I increase it.

Hii everyone.
As stated .which one you guys prefer and why?
I was an avid 32bit user for a time being and the
reason I ask is because I was thinking of upgrading to 64bit win 7 but hesitate due to my doubt of its stability in terms of driver support and gaming experience.

Any suggestion whether I should migrate to 64 or stay with 32.. pros and cons

Btw my pc usage
- gaming
- multitask photoshop, autodesk

hi guys, as the topic said.
How to configure qos on that router/modem model,im on streamyx 1mb

im sharing this line with my two friend ,im on cable while two others on wireless
the problem is one of them usually using torrent and that really slow down the internet for me and my other friend.

i have the access to admin config but i dont know where to start,for now i just wanted to capped the bandwidth fairly.
if that doesnt work,i might as well just disable p2p for good.

can someone teach me how to proceed. thanks

hi guys
i need some help. recently my sister ask me to format her 4736g on windows 7 ultimate 32.
Silly me,i forgot to backup the driver first as i thought she have the driver cd. unfortunately she lost the cd already and the notebook has been formatted by the time she told me.

ive download several driver from acer official,intel and other website but
the driver doesnt work at all, especially wireless driver.

so now what can i do to retrieve/download those drivers back
can anyone shed a light on this? any link?appreciate the help
