Need RAM n Proc for my Mobo

I own 970A-DS3P and 450W Cooler Master PSU. Now need help to choose proc n ram tu build my gaming rig. But not for overclocking. My VGA card is HD7770. I didn;t expect to play all high end games but maybe you guys can help me out, well since the my VGA is mid class not high end.

HDD? 2TB would be enough for me. SSD? Nice, but later.

I've tried to install my new VGA HD7770 on my mobo GA-MA74GM-S2H, using provided installation CD, but then after a required restart, I got this notification problem.

I'm using GA-MA74GM-S2H (Socket M2), version 1. I don't want to upgrade my mobo, just want to upgrade my processor, in case there is another better processor than what I'm using now. Gonna buy the best, the fastest processor for my mobo, as long as my mobo can support it. FYI, I'm using AMD Phenom X3 8450 for the time being.

Hi, I want to purchase new RAM for my PC. Currently using ;

-AMD Phenom X3 8450
-GA-MA74GM-S2H (Socket M2)

Already have a single RAM- 2gb. Want to make it 4gb. So, what's the better option when buying new RAM? Just buy a single new RAM 4gb or add new one RAM 2gb?

Coz I heard some people said using 2pieces of 2gb RAM are better than using a single 4gb RAM.

I was using ATI Radeon VGA before since few years back. With AMD processor. After seeing the total failure of Bulldozer chipset, I made decision, bye2 AMD, wanna use Intel.

Then I was thinking, why don't I try Nvidia product. Would be better than ATI Radeon guys??? Will use with i5 2500k(supreme overclock) would it be a perfect combination? work well?

Okay, I decided to use i5 2500K processor this time . So, the next is to choose a right mobo for my gaming rig. Since this is my first time to use Intel product (5 years with AMD ), so I have no idea how to choose, which socket? which chipset?

And, this is the first time also, will use ASUS mobo. Any better recommendation? My budget is around RM350. and not more than RM500.

Hey guys, this is another frequently asked question. You are welcome to share your ideas. But for this time, I'll give you a prove, so you can read and decide it. Let's hear from all of you guys. Now, please read and study the data from the link below:

Simple conclusion from me :

1-Intel show their domination in almost series than AMD.
2-AMD FX series (Bulldozer) really fail.
3-Intel is the best choice for the time being.

And, to tell you the truth, I was so confirm to change from AMD Phenom II X6 1100 BE (RM640) to i5 2500K after I read this article yesterday . And the price difference would be around RM60-RM70.

Now I doubt if any of you guys, still wanna stick with AMD. But, I would please to hear from you guys, if you have any objection. And I do not mean to say that my theory is solid true.

So, how did you guys think??? Share your thought please...

BUDGET GAMING RIG (to help a friend)

My friend want to build a low budget gaming rig. Around RM700 without monitor. Keyboard and mouse, no big deal. will just use cikai one. The most important is the motherboard and the processor, also the power supply. I think he is considering 2ndhand gaming rig as well. Any idea? Intel, AMD , both of them welcome.

AMD Bulldozer. Is it really not worthy to buy it?

I heard Bulldozer is not a successful product. Am I right? Could somebody please tell me, what happened honestly? Outperformed? And FYI, I had just bought a new Gigabyte motherboard- 880GM-USB3 and planning to use AMD Bulldozer processor on it. So, now need help from all of you guys, considering whether should buy it or not. And, I'm planning to use this motherboard and processor for the next 2 years, maximum gonna be up to 3 years ...
