Good Day everyone

I'm residing outside of Malaysia at the moment and looking for options to watch Malaysian TV channels as well as Astro as much as possible. I have a MiBox android TV box. I tried few things on Kodi using Add-Ons but unfortunately did not work.

Any advice/Recommendation on this please?

Android Box (T9) Install Issue

HI,

I have a T9 Android box. everything is fine except, I am unable to install any application from the Play Store and unable to update any application. It used to be fine and i could download some games, apps, etc.

When I click "Install" in the play Store, I receive the error code 403. Basically, it says;

"........" can't be downloaded. Try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting. (Error code: 403)

How can I overcome this? I tried to disable and enable the play store. I cleared the search history, cache, etc. Now out of solutions.

Is it a good idea to do a factory reset to the device? Or What can you recommend?

Motherboard Sound Issue

Hi,

I have just built a PC with a mobo Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC. All is fine except the sound from the sound jack of the motherboard. When i plug my speaker/headphone t the motherboard, there is no sound at all. But the sound is fine from the front of the casing.

The driver installed (Realtek® Audio) is 6.0.8881.1.It is not the latest one but as per Gigabyte website, it is the oldest one. I tried to update to the folowing drivers, even to the latest one. However, it keeps failing with the error "no driver supported in this driver package".

I am wondering if it is the hardware (motherboard) issue or the software.

Looking forward for your advice.

Hi,

I am a beginner at overclocking and need some ideas on how to go around with overclocking. Definitely, I do not want to mess with my new build.

There are so many items on google regarding voltages etc. However, I am unable to find any solid guidelines.

I prefer to clock my i510600k to 5Ghz.

I am running my system on a Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Elite AC motherboard with the cooler master MA610P CPU cooler. In addition, I have 16 GB Ram 3200 (8x2).

MSI vs Gigabyte GPU

Hi,

Here is part of my build. I contacted Viewnet and have already got a quotation. I am going to proceed. However, for the GPU, i want MSI GTX1660 SUPER GAMING X 6GB but no stock. I checked several places as well, no stock. Instead of MSI, they recommended GIGABYTE GTX1660 SUPER OC.

So now, i need your advice in comparison of these 2 GPUs; which one you recommend. And is there any place i can get the MSI GTX1660 SUPER GAMING X 6GB from? Preferably, in KL/Selangor

Android TVBox advice-Beelink?

I am planing to get an android tvbox within rm350 budget. I have done some research and Beelink GT1 Ultimate seems it suits my budget (around +- Rm300 on lazada). In terms of ram (3gb) and storage (32gb), looks fine. I would like to know ur opinion on the same.

Or if you can recommend any other tvbox?

And is there any shop i can go and buy beelink gt1 ultimate? Online takes arnd 1 month to receive. :/

I purchased a Powerlogic G9 Gaming mouse from Jayacom through Lazada. I have received it today. The mouse works fine and i also installed the driver from the CD came with the mouse. However, when i open the control menu, it says, "NO MOUSE DETECTED". Therefore, i am unable to set the keys and cannot change the pulsing colors on the mouse. I also tried it on another PC&laptop but no difference. I also searched some softwares on the ner, but failed to find any.

I am wondering if it is the hardware issue or software.

Appreciate all your help.

Dear Sifus,

I have purchased a 1 TB Western Digital Passport external harddisk in November 2013. I have almost 700GB data saved in the drive. It is also password protected. It was working flawlessly fine. For the last 3-4 days, my computer is unable to detect the device most of the time. But sometimes, it detects the WD Unlocker drive. I key in the password and the "My Computer" folder starts loading for a looong time but nothing happens. I am unable to access to the drive itself.

I called the WD support and spoke to an agent. He sent me the WD security software in order for me to try to unlock the device from there. I tried but failed. After alomst for an hours discussion over the phone, he suggested that the device maybe faulty and they can replace it as it is still within the warranty (until 2016).

But my main concern is not the replacement but all the data inside. I asked if they can provide any service to retrieve the data and replace the device. But they do not provide such service. They sent me an acknowledgement letter that allows me to take my Drive to a Western Digital certified drive to retrieve the data. After that they will replace it with a new one.

However, i do not know if there is any WD certified shop in Kuala Lumpur that provides such a service to retrieve the data from a faulty WD hard drive.

I need your urgent advise, help and suggestions on this. If you can suggest me any WD certified shop in Lowyat/Digital Mall or other places in KL. The shop should provide a certification after retrieving the data as well. As i need it to replace the product. And, how much it may cost to retrieve the data from my drive?

I am planning to seel my Sapphire HD7850 2gb OC and buy a SAPPHIRE R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 WITH BOOST & OC for a better performance and graphics in gaming.

Will SAPPHIRE R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 WITH BOOST & OC worth it? And will the differences be clear compared to Sapphire HD7850 2gb OC?
