Power Trip HELP

I am typing this thru my phone which is very inconvenient.

Yesterday, the power suddenly tripped.
So I unplug all device (except d refrigerator of course), and turn on power all ok.

This morning when i plugged in my laptop charger & turned the switch on, the power trip again n there is a burn smell.

So went to the hardware store bcos thought the fuse burned, changed new one but same thing happens.

Any suggestion why this is happening?
Do i have to buy a new charger?

Okay, first of, I am reaaaaaaaaaaaally annoyed with my laptop. Not sure if it is my fault or it's time to change to a new one.

The problem with my laptop are:
Used to use it for Solidworks. It was great the 1st year.
Then I use it for some gaming. The Sims 3, RYL, WYD.
Used it for blogging and other boring stuffs, the usual: FB, etc.
Then my phase of obsessing over watching YouTube vids came.

Then my laptop start acting up. Suddenly die on me la. Overheat kot.
Sometimes, blue screen randomly appears and then restart itself.

Sent to a repair shop, he said if want to check, he charge RM200 (baru cek je belum repair. zzz)
He said possibly fan prob or the motherboard need to be replaced. Then he might charge up to RM900.

I am currently using acer laptop. Used it for 3 years already.

Keep in mind that I don't really know exact & fancy terms regarding laptop/PC systems or internal hardware. If anyone can help me understand them better and as simple as possible, that would be great.

Currently I am in the mood of playing The Sims 3 due to my obsession of watching the game plays on Youtube.
And next semester I really need to install CATIA & Solidworks.

Any suggestions? Opinions?
