HDD Issue

I have 1 unit of LACIE Rikiki USB 3.0 HDD.

Was accessing files from the HDD on last Sunday, everything was working fine.
Until I need to access to some files on Tuesday, I found that it cannot be detected already OS does not mount the partition. Disk management does not show the external disk.

So I assume the casing/housing of the external disk is faulty (as i encounter this before, change another external case the HDD is working liao).
I removed the HDD from LACIE casing, plug into Cooler Master Casing.

In Disk Management, the HDD state is "Unknown" and "Offline". When I try to "Online" the disk I received the error "The system cannot find the file specified."

[WTA] Prevent Mold/Fungus on Furniture

Hi,

I'm currently having wood fungus problem in my room.

Where I believe my room air is too humid? and my room is protected/shaded from sunlight.

Anyhow, I have notice some fungus/mold growing on my wood furniture i.e my tv cabinet, wardrobe and bed frame.
I have try wiping it off with just dry cloth but after few days it just return and got worst.

I have also try to use furniture polish (Minyak Kayu Murni) some kind of oil based thing. Where I apply on the affected furnitures but 2 days later I can see that the fungus/mold starts to appear again.

Would like to ask for you kind suggestion or opinion on how to avoid removing mold/fungus after I have clean them up.

I have read somewhere only which say to use vinegar to clean up the furniture. I wonder how effective is this?

Can share the input on this?

I'm actually wondering if there is any Router/Switch that does QOS to cap the speed on the certain ports/ip/mac address.

So far I have seen QOS on the protocols. But unsure if it can cap certain speed on certain equipment connected to the port/ip/mac address.

Maybe there is such thing but its not called QOS?

Hope to get some guidance from sifu here.

Good day.

I'm facing a problem with my new Exchange Server 2010 SP1 setup.
I can send mails to my own domain abc.com.my not issue. But I cant send emails to domain like, yahoo.com, gmail.com and hotmail.com
But i can send to a company xyz.com.my email which is hosted by google.

I believe that the domain abc.com.my is block/blacklisted some how.

All start to happen on Monday, where is working find on last friday.

Any issue show i be aware of? or any configuration mistake?

Hi, I'm looking for HDMI\RCA(Output) to DVI\VGA(Input) cable\adapter\conveter.

I have 1 unit of STB(UNIFI IPTV) with HDMI\RCA\S-Video output. I need to input to a LCD monitor.
Maximum resolution of the monitor is 1366x768.

I have already tried HDMI to DVI cable. I can see the HyppTV logo. After that blank. Says that the Display is out of range.

Is there any converter/adapter in the market i can use to get the output to my LCD monitor.

How much and where can i get it.

Just got my VIP5 install today.

Everything works fine. Except the IPTV.

I dont have a TV set. So I could not hook up the tv to the STB.
So I got myself a HDMI-DVI Cable. When powering up the STB, I can see the HyppTV. Then it goes blank. A message prompt across the LCD, "Signal Out of Range". I know this is due to the resolution. I've already tried to change the LCD resolution but same thing.

The LCD i having is 19" wide screen. Max resolution is 1366x768.
Is it possible to change the STB resolution?

, the reason apply this unifi cause want to use lcd watch iptv. lol
because no tv in the house.

help pls. or any suggesstion. TQ

or do i need to get some special device/converter like those usb hub thingy
