Very very dim LCD

Please help. My IBM R60 laptop is 3 years old. The LCD is very very dim, hardly see the display. I try the Fn+Home , Fn+ End, still the same.
Anyone have this experience? Is there any DIY repair can be done? If not, who can repair and how much ?

Contacts in a mess

Finally got my Samsung i780.

Playing with the GPS happily . However, the phonebook give me hell a lot of problem. The arrangement order is diff than the old one.
I used to keyin the contact with a prefix alphabet for my contacts grouping. eg. 'F xxxxx' for all my relative and family members. But now turn up ‘xxxx;F/1’ !! What is this means? Is there any setting or utility to arrange it back? Or what is your solution to this .

Status indicator malfunction

My Notebook Model: lenovo R60

All status indicators underneath the display did not on, normally the ‘power’ and ‘battery’ or ‘AC power’ should on, but only the wifi indicator working. Is that any key to disable/enable it ?

2. Anywhere can get original power adaptor for this model.. how much would it be ?

Backup and Restore

I used to configure and schedule to backup my data by 'Backup & Restore Wizard' in WinXP Pro in my office weekly. its a very good feature.

But when i bought WinXP Home, i don't find this function any more ..

Any Sifu can help to enlightern me where its hiding or any free shareware can do this job ?

Any taiko can tell what are the differences bet the compaq NX series and Compaq Presario V series notebook. The same processor T2300, same RAM and HDisk size, NX6320 and V3041TU have the price diff of RM1K! I noted NX have the window XP Pro while V3041 is XP Home. Is the NX more robust for business travelling ??

With the same specification , is a 12" laptop will be cheaper compare to 14"/15" laptop?

Anyone is from this area.
How is the streamyx connection in Pengalan near to Ipoh ? the phone No: 3232xxx

This area (number) don even able connect to Jaring or TMnet properly by dial up. Telekom ppl suggest to subscripe Streamyx. I affraid same problem happen.
