How to deal with this PENYU!

I just work at this company almost 4month. Everyone treat me like a family even im a new girl. They very cool people that try to get along with each other and have fun. But ive notice that "this guy" have really negative attitude. Let's call him PENYU. He is about 15 years older then me and since he has been at the company for 7 years and he thinks he is good. The funny is, this penyu always call me "KAKAK". Im same age with his son, how can u call me like that. im always try to be a nice girl and i respect people older than me so i ignore. I've also noticed that he enjoys talking about every single person life that works here behind their backs.This penyu is a mean ass person. Today I caught him talking shits about me. he says that im so cheap, like a chicken can get at chow kit. Plus he try to gossip me that i go out with all his friend go clubbing, kissing and bla bla bla. Always got point everyday. hes very stupid and b****es anybody else I ever met, who don't have anything else to do, but worry about my life. Seriously, he just enjoy bringing pain to other people.I WANT TO RIP HIS HEAD OFF EVERY TIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH. I was always very flustered when people started talking shit, and would try and come up with something equally mean to say back. But I cant. This penyu never finds a good word to say about anything. To Penyu, stop being like this, u have family. U dowan people talk about your family even they dont do anything wrong. "Sometimes we get back what we say".

How rude is that?
I don't know which is the right decision, i try to ignore what he say, but that just makes it feel like im letting him get away with it. or i need to defend myself?

Do you tell your parents everything, or would you if they asked? What would or wouldn't you tell them? I'm just curious because I feel very uncomfortable talking to them about certain aspects of my life.

P/S : Im very close with my parents but I tend not to tell them things which would upset them unnecessarily.
