Streamyx 8mbps + iflix Issues

Hi Readers !

I have Set Top Box model Huawei EC6108v8 . When I browse the playstore with the TM default devices ( Modem + Set Top Box) , the Iflix stated that " Your device isnt compatible with this version " .

Frustrated. I tried to download the iflix Apk from some website I found from random googling , the iflix version that I downloaded 2.1.11.0 . I then transferred it to the pendrive , and install it inside the Set Top Box . Successfully installed , when I tried to launch it , it crashed everytime i open it. Anyone know why?

Also , where's the 1 year free subscription . I confirmed with TM staff at TM point Kepong , they said the offers valid for unifi , streamyx 4-8 mbps . But , I dont see it , in the iflix website . Only ads I saw was the " RM 8 per month " that was all .

Hah ! Finally I able to launch the iflix apps from the huawei device , what i did was uninstall the "problem iflex apps " then I downloaded iflix apk from this here Iflix ( Workable , this is not malware , I have tested it myself ) . Install it again and it succefully launch without any crashes .

But , I only able to watch iflix under 1 months trial , how do I get that 1 years free subscription . Tm staff said that 4mbps - 8 mbps are eligible for this offer

Hi guys , I seriously need you guys help in investigating my desktop power requirements . I only open my pc from Friday - Sunday , usually on that period , I dont shut down my PC . I played BF Hardline , BF 3 , BF 4 , Heroes of the Storm on ULTRA settings and I often played for like 1-2 hours straight . It just happened this morning , my computer suddenly shutdown , I thought was overheating issues because of gaming , I tried to let it cool off before trying to start again , wait for like 2-3 min , pressed the button , the fan spin the screen showed up windows logo but then it turn off before manage to load the desktop screen . IDK , within a month , I have replace my desktop cpu TWICE .

My PC setup :

i5 4460
8 GB ram ( 1 stick )
Sapphire Tri-X R9 390X 8 GB
MSI B85 Gaming 3
1TB WD Green
Optical Drive
Cooler Master x212

This just it , my psu setup , nothing more .

1st PSU : Corsair RM850 - Toast ( Not lasting 2 weeks )

2nd PSU : Cooler Master V850 - RIP ( This morning - just reach 2 week )

I was like , WTF happen ? ( I know how to install this PC components but IDK how to calculate the VOLT , I'm more like Plug and Play person )

So , I tried to troubleshoot by replacing the psu with 520W , take out the gpu , take out the optical drive power cable , take out some fan cable from MOBO . ( This is to investigate whether mobo or gpu or psu or etc is problem ) I did the same things with my 1st psu .

Start the psu , THANK GOD , it boot normally . So , I suspected PSU was the problem .

But why ?

Is 850W is not sufficient enough for my default pc setup ? Should I upgrade to 1000W ? ( BTW , I never done any OC . I only run this pc for 3 straight days , games on ULTRA settings , that's all )

I am doing a survey for PSU more than 750 Watt ( Most shop that I went to ,only sold 550-750w )

Kindly please help me cause My present PSU died on me last night .What's PSU wattage and please stated the brand as well also its type ( modular , semi , full etc ) .

Hi .

i experienced stuttering and lagging while playing BF Hardline Multiplayer . Cant blame the internet as I play Heroes of the Storm in EU server without any probs even while downloading torrent and spotifying . Unfortunately BF Hardline giving Hardtimes unlike BF 4 , BF 3 , Titanfall , PvZ .

My current rig :

Could it be my graphic card ? because this is quite a demanding gpu vram games , if so, could you guys recommend a graphic card or at least post your setup if you guys able to play it flawlessly . Please .

Hi Fellow Forumers .

Planning to get R9 390 over R9 390X after several surveys and I'm not a fan of OC desktop , only that I'm the type that dont turn off theirs desktop for 2-3 days straight . I have several questions concerning brand and gpus rams

1) In terms of reliability , which brand should I go for ( financial isnt a factor ) sapphire or asus or msi
2) Difference between Asus Standard and Asus Strix
3) Difference between Sapphire Nitro , Dual X and Tri X
4) Like the case of R9 390 , there are different gddr5 , some have it 2gb , 4gb and even 8 gb but of the same model ( does it make any difference in gaming )

do I need to modify any settings during the boot or remove the software/hardware/firmware prior installing new graphic card ? By the way, current gpu is R9 270X with i5 4460 ( hope this new gpu wont bottleneck my desktop ). I think I dont need to remove the amd software or firmware , and just install the graphic card right away - like plug and play . will it work like that ?

Any sifus feedback is highly appreciated

Hi all !

My current desktop specs :

i5-4460
Asus GTX 750 2GB OC Ed.
Gigabyte GA-H97 GAMING 3
Cooler Master Thunder M 520W
Monitor - DVI Port

I'm trying to replace my current GPU to newer model but I dont know how to choose a gpu ( the power output, the slot etc but what I know is that my monitor use a DVI port thus I need a gpu that can support DVI ) therefore I need you guys to teach me how to choose suitable gpu for the processor ,motherboard, power supply cause I really dont have any idea how to pick a gpu apart from good looking box . ( current desktop was setup by my friends , back in college )

Secondly, when taken out / install gpu , do I have to apply something on the surface of something that involve pasting ( not sure what's technique or the name of substance call ) , does install gpu I can straight away play games or do i have to tune something in bios or configurate something during startup or need to install the driver , can it be just plug and play ?

Any Nvidia or AMD GPU , I wont mind but it has to be below RM 1300
