Xiaomi 55 Screen damaged

Following a house move I discovered that my Xiaomi 55 TV screen has cracks and doesn't work now. It was well packed and wrapped well by the movers so not sure what happened.
Any idea if the parts are available and how much they would? My guess is roughly the same price as a new TV but would like to know.

Buying a MBA 13

I’m currently looking at getting a 13’ MBA and would like to understand the pro/cons of ordering online vs dealers in the KL area. For the dealers do they all sell at the same price or are discounts/freebies available?

Unifi Wiring Issue

Last month we had Unifi installed and planned to keep our existing fixed line to ensure that our alarm works in the event of a power failure.

After approx 1 week the old fixed line was cut without our asking. After several calls we are advised that we need to go to our local TM point.

The staff at Ampang TM point said that the line was disconnected due to the option being selected during the Unifi application process. I explained that this was done on the phone so TM must have made the mistake however I was told that I needed to pay a fee for reconnection which I refused to do and was subsequently asked to make a report and that somebody would contact me within 1 week.

Several weeks pass and no call or response to the email address I had been given so I returned to TM point. TM then said ok they would get the line reconnected but with a different number which is ok.

The contractor made an appointment and my wife took leave so that we could get this resolved but we had to pay RM35 to the contractor which I want back from TM. The line is now working but I have some serious concerns over how its wired.

At the bottom of the pic is the cable for the alarm which is hard wired into the socket. The wire for the existing phone seems to coming out of the side of the socket and looks crap and exposed so if its knocked it will get damaged.

[attachmentid=2164539]

I’ll call TM or the contractor tomorrow to discuss.

Does anybody on here have a similar setup where they have kept the 2 lines and if so how is it wired?
Unifi availability at my blok

For the past month or so there has been a Unifi sales booth outside my condo and as per them all the blocks have been wired up. I've checked with several of my neighbours in my block and they confirm that they have Unifi and its working well.

Last night I tried to sign up to take advantage of the free install and the web site says not available at my address. Today I called Unifi and the agent says no network yet in my block.

Is this a common problem with TM i.e they dont have a clue where their network is?

Any suggestions?
