How to clone HDD to SSD

Hi All,

I have a existing RIG which is powered by AMD Phenom II X3.

My current Hard Disk Drive is a Western Digital Sata 640GB

The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.

Just purchased a new SSD drive - Corsair 128GB SATA3 2.5" FORCE LX

MOBO: ASUS M4A785-TD-M EVO[U]

Usage of the HDD: (Stats)

Capacity - 610479 MB

C: 610378MB

System Reserved: 100MB

USED: 41.1 GB

FREE: 550GB

Question:

How do I transfer\clone my existing WD HDD with the OS and Data of 41.1 GB
to my new Corsair SSD?

What would be the best method to use and any special tools?

I have the Arconis Suite of tools that might be able to help with tis but am not sure how to get started.

Furthermore do I have to align the Disk\partitions?

What about TRIM? How does that play a part?

Any advise on how this can be done?

Any help or leads would be much appreciated.
