I saw Senheng now got a lot of house appliance with the EZ Credit rebate, any one has experience on using the EZ Credit?

Any hidden T&C I should be aware of? 1points = RM0.10 and can be used for future purchase in the retail stores?

Hi, first time home owner here..very blur on many things
How do you guys start doing the reno?
I already have ID relative that does the drawing, but since he’s oversea, that’s the end of his role.

How did you guys do it? Do you approach diff contractor independently or let one single contractor settles all?
Separate contractor would be cheaper right?

But I am quite clueless as to where to start..any advice is greatly welcomed..

Based on the other thread recently, it seems many people mistook being introvert for being unable to socialize. Just because you are a fat virgin slamming your keyboard and no social skill does not automatically mean you are an introvert.
An introvert can socialize just fine, other people would not know any different. If you can't socialize...well..don't blame it on your self-proclaimed introversion and give yourself a little pat on the back. You are socially awkward, accept it and move on.

During kindergarten, there was this kid that sat in front of me. He often annoys me, I could not remember specifically, but all I can remember is I am pretty annoyed by his constant crap.
One day, I slashed the kid's arm with my ruler. The kid's arm bled. The teachers were surprised with my behavior as I was usually the goody two shoes kid. That kid never bothered me since that day.
Thinking back, that was really psychopathic thing to do or maybe it was just little kid's bullshit..

Today at work, I heard somebody wrongly used the phrase "blood is thicker than water" in a conversation. It's a common misconception that the quote means that family ties is stronger than any other relationship formed outside the family. That is plainly wrong. Just. Wrong.

The original meaning of the quote is that the blood shed by the brotherhoods (the ties between brotherhood) is much stronger than the water in the womb. Hence, the quote: "blood is thicker than water".

I hope you all don't make the same mistake. An attempt to sound brilliant just made you seems foolish if you do not know how to use it.

Salary in Dubai for Fresh Engineer

From what I searched online, the salary range for freshie is typically AED 3.5k-6k, that's about give or take around the same value in RM (slightly lower).
Why do I keep hearing people get humongous amount of salary by working in Dubai? Read it in lowyat also, got people say salary is RM10k-20k minimum.. Seriously?
Can anyone with experience shed some light??

Earlier today I used my Maybank Debit Card to make a purchase, but the cashier entered wrong amount and voided the transaction. But after checking my saving accounts today, my balance was still deducted.
Any idea why this happens? Or is there a time frame for Maybank to actually return the money for voided transaction?

Hi guys!

I am very stressed right now.
Let's say you got a scholarship offer (+stipend) for Masters by research study overseas in a well known University for 2 years; would you take it? I am not considering a PhD afterwards, I have no interest in academic career. The MPhil I will get upon the studies completion doesn't really seem appealing.

Or should I straight away keep looking for job? As the 2 years experience might count more compared to the 2 years spent to study masters? Looking to work in singapore if possible..

For a little background, I graduated from electrical engineering course with first class honours.
