Question about down payment and partial loan

Hi,

If someone is planning to buy an 80-90k car, has 50k cash money, and plans to pay 50k and the rest by car loan:

1. What are the methods possible to pay the 50k? Besides actual cash.

2. Do you pay the down payment first (say 10k), and the rest (say 40k) later?

3. If yes, when do you pay the 40k, and to whom? The dealer? The bank?
