I have a HP 3000pro desktop motherboard running with Intel E5400 (LGA775, FSB:800mhz) , currently running a stick of Kingston 2gb PC3-10700 (667Mhz) normally.

Problem
- I wish to upgrade to higher RAM, i tried installing a stick of 8gb PC3-1600 or a stick of 4gb PC3-1600, both tried at a stick at one time.

- When attempting to boot, the monitor showing black screen and unable to boot into bios. CPU fan running as normal.

So i want to buy an external LED monitor to connect with my notebook, LED monitor spec is Samsung 23" LED monitor .

Notebook spec : - Intel C2D T5500 , Intel GMA 950 , 2GB RAM .

Will the notebook display card support with the LED monitor ? Just seeking opinion from you all.

all is default spec,nothing changed

The problem is :

- Suddenly it unable to boot, even bios also cannot
- Diagnostics light all didnt light up
- the cpu fan rotate very loudly

Any ideas ????

I recently installed HP drive key boot utily, and prepared to apply it on my HP drive key.

But unfortunately, i accidently chose my external HDD to set as the HP drive key boot. And now everytime i start my external HDD, it only recognize as a 335MB Drive instead of a 80GB drive ! Help, may i know how to roll it back to previous 80GB partition ?
