BEKAS pelumba basikal Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) Johor 1998, maut apabila motosikal ditunggangnya dirempuh kereta dari belakangdekat simpang ke rumahnya di Kilometer 5, Jalan Mersing-Endau, Johor, hari ini.

Jema'in Md Khalid, 39, yang menunggang Suzuki Smash cedera parah di kepala dan badan selepas tercampak beberapa meter akibat rempuhan kuat, kira-kira 7.30 pagi.

Ketua Polis Daerah Mersing Superintendan Cyril Edword Nuing berkata, mayat mangsa dihantar ke Unit Forensik Hospital Mersing untuk bedah siasat.

Menurutnya, ketika kejadian mangsa dalam perjalanan pulang ke rumahnya di kawasan berhampiran selepas menghantar kuih ke Pasar Tepian Sungai, Mersing.

Beliau berkata, siasatan mendapati pemandu Proton Waja berusia 49 tahun itu tiada lesen memandu.

“Pemeriksaan juga mendapati lelaki berkenaan mempunyai saman memandu tanpa lesen dan cukai jalan manakala insurans kereta itu sudah tamat tempoh,” katanya.

Menurutnya, pemandu lelaki itu ditahan bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Seksyen 41 (1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987.

Dalam kejadian 2.10 petang itu, mangsa, Koo Yee Sieng, 14, menunggang motosikal Modenas Kriss bersama Koo Yee Yin, 12, selepas selesai sesi persekolahan di kawasan berkenaan.

Ketua Polis Daerah Sabak Bernam Suprintendan Nor Azmi Isa berkata, kedua-dua mangsa yang juga pelajar Tingkatan Dua dan murid Tahun Enam datang dari arah Lorong Jambatan Bedena Jaya menghala ke Jalan Lama Kuala Selangor.

"Setibanya di lokasi kejadian, motosikal mereka dipercayai cuba menyeberangi jalan secara mengejut.

"Ia kemudian mengakibatkan mereka dilanggar lori dipandu lelaki berusia 30 tahun itu dari arah belakang sehingga terjatuh," katanya.

Menurut beliau, perlanggaran itu mengakibatkan mangsa masing-masing parah di kepala dan patah tangan kiri.

"Mereka kemudian dikejarkan ke Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (HTAJ) Sabak Bernam sebelum dirujuk ke Hospital Sungai Buloh untuk rawatan lanjut," katanya.

Kata Nor Azmi, pemandu lori itu tampil membuat laporan polis di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Sabak Bernam bagi membantu siasatan.

Oh dear. The electric-powered Tesla Model S has been found to produce more whole-life carbon dioxide than a petrol supermini.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which whom Lamborghini is working on future battery tech, studied a group of cars’ production methods, exhaust emissions, potential for recycling and any emissions produced by power plants for the quantity of electricity required, if any.

While the researchers say that emissions from distant power plants are the lesser of two evils when it comes to city centres, the Model S was responsible for 226g/km of CO2 during its lifetime compared to just 192g/km for the humble Mitsubishi Mirage supermini.

Admittedly, we know which one of the two we’d rather put on our driveways, but 34g/km is a significant difference. It’s fresh evidence to back the theory that electric cars are actually no cleaner overall than small petrol ones, although we’d like to see a fairer-looking comparison between, say, a Nissan Leaf and a Volkswagen Golf.

Against a more comparable car, the BMW 750 xDrive, the Model S was reportedly some 159g/km better for the planet over its entire several hundred thousand kilometre lifetime.

It also matters how the Model S in the study gets its energy. In the American Midwest, it may be coal-fired power stations. Parts of northern Europe, for example, are now heavily supplied by renewables. The argument will rumble on…

Ok, i ride my kapcai at 3 lane highway. Speed around 90kmh gps. I ride at left lane. Not hogging lane or ride slow. But got some car that will overtake me very close. And he overtake me using my lane meanwhile middle and right lane got no traffic.

So for me, motorcycle should use elane coz some of this cagers overtake like a retards. I guess this type of cagers who complain motorcycle using elane coz they butthurt motorcyclist can use elane without getting summon. This type of cagers complain motorcyclist ride slow at highway and butthurt when see motorcyclist using elane while in traffic jam.

This tered ia not about how motorcyclist behaviours. It is about motorcycle using elane. Sekian rant from me

ATTACK CHURCH IN FRANCE, BEHEAD CATHOLIC PRIEST

The attackers entered the church in the town of Saint Etienne du Rouvray at around 9am this morning local time during mass before taking six hostages, including the pastor, two nuns and several worshippers.

One of the nuns was reportedly able to escape and alert authorities. After a gunfight, police announced that the terrorists had been neutralized.
It was initially reported that the priest had his throat slit, but he was actually beheaded. Another parishioner was wounded, with other injuries likely.
Police soon confirmed that the attack had an Islamist motive.

According to authorities, “at least one of the two hostage-takers had a beard and one wore a traditional Muslim cap.”
The hostages also reportedly shouted “jihad” during the rampage.

French President Francois Hollande and the Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve are already on their way to the area.
Europe can barely go 48 hours now without an Islamist terror attack, clearly indicating that the entire continent is being subverted by Islam while the media and political class still insist that the attacks have nothing to do with the millions of Muslim migrants that have poured into the continent over the last year.
