Seeking iron recommendations for formal shirt

It is a weekly chore to iron my formal shirt.

I moved from a dry traditional dry type iron to a steam iron as shown in pic below.

The new iron is better than the old since it’s hotter and lighter but I feel it’s still a chore.

How’s your experience with those modern iron that looks nothing like traditional iron? Are those suitable for formal long sleeve shirt? Any good recommendations that can really save time and effort?

Shop recommendation for android head unit

Hello, I'm interested to install a new android head unit into my car.

I have an existing one from a small shop and I'm very unsatisfied with it. The unit takes about 45 seconds to boot up after I start the engine, and the built-in microphone is potato quality. I have to shout at the top of my lungs to be heard during phone calls. This is what it looks like below. I thought of connecting an external mic to it but two shops that i went to so far just told me that this model does not have a mic jack at the back just by looking at it.

Do you guys know any good shop recommendation in KL area that has a variety of android head unit at different price point?

As the title implies, is it legal to send baby to baby sitter during emco in KL area? Less than 10km travel distance, just one driver and a baby in car seat, travel time before 8pm.

Solved: I called the number at MKN website for pertanyaan SOP, the reply I got say can, as long same district.

Question about USB C dongle/hub

Hi all, I'm planing to get a mac soon but I'm unsure which USB C dongle to get.

I originally intended to get this. It has all the ports including VGA and LAN

But then I saw this review https://youtu.be/ajTUqSXzZis?t=165
which says that most dongles will get very warm when in use. And he recommends this instead.

However, the kinston one doesn't have VGA and LAN. I would need to get a separate HDMI to VGA, and a LAN dongle.

Here are some questions:

1. Is it better to get a big all in one hub, of multiple smaller hubs?

2. Is it normal for dongle to heat up? How bad is the heat? Which is the largest culprit, display ports? Or even normal use with wireless mouse dongle will heat up?

3. There are cheaper unknown brands out there, are there prone to overheat? Or are they good enough I can skip the branded ones.

4. Ang dongles to recommend or avoid?

Looking for Smart Air Conditioner

Hi guys, I thinking of buying air con. preferably a "Smart" one with internet connection.
even if the air con remote spoil., can control using smart phone, program on off etc, and still can use.

At first I thought maybe xiaomi air con. Around RM1.8k. But no confidence about the warranty. Macam no service center for air con.

Midea seems like a more reliable brand in terms of after sales service than xiaomi, but strangely many shops that i went to such as senQ, courts, and other small electical shop don't sell midea.

Is midea a reliable brand for air con? Or any 'smart' aircon from other brand that you all use before?
Share your thoughts please, I'd love to hear em.

When subscribe TIME internet, i get a modem and a wifi router.
Recently got upgrade from 100Mbps to 500Mbps
The default wifi router cannot support such wifi speed. So I buy new one to replace.

My question is:
The included wifi router, TP-link Archer AC1200, is it belongs to the customer? (permanently mine, I can sell or do whatever I want)
OR
is it consider rent to the customer? (need to return when I terminate contract or switch to other ISP)

Time Fibre internet

After the free upgrade, my news speed suppose to be 500 Mbps. But I'm getting around 100-300 Mbps (upload and download) only which varied across devices and range from the wifi router.

The router that I got from time is TP link AC1200.
Based on the spec sheet I found online, the 5GHz band should be able to reach 800+ Mbps. But then the stated 2.4 Ghz band can reach 300 Mbps but in reality it can't even exceed 30 Mbps for 2.4 Ghz band.

I tried using lan cable on my laptop, the download speed can reach 500 but strangely the upload is just 50?

Anyhow, my question is, should I buy a better wifi router that can reach 500 Mbps? If so which model? Any other time fiber subscriber? How's your experience with the 500 Mbps speed?

Hi guys, here's the deal, my GPU has Display Port and DVI port.
But my monitor has VGA and HDMI port.
So obviously I need some sort of converter adaptor.

This is my current setup
Monitor -> VGA cable -> VGA to HDMI converter -> HDMI to DVI converter -> GPU

I don't think this is a good idea since less converter the better right?

Which of the below setup should I use? Is there any difference? Or should I stick to my current setup?

Setup A
Monitor -> HDMI cable -> HDMI to DVI converter -> GPU

Setup B
Monitor -> HDMI cable -> HDMI to Display port converter -> GPU

Celcom roaming scam [solved]

Update :After complaining. They said will refund me in my next bill

Celcom states in their website 1 day internet roaming is RM38. But I was charged twice that amount.

On the day I arrived at the foreign country, after mid night malaysia time, I send request to subscribe 1 day internet pass via *118#. But did not get any reply.

In the morning when I wake up still nothing. Use wifi to check the MyCelcom app, I'm not on roaming pass yet. Send request again via *118#, after some time only got confirmation sms, and app shows that I'm on roaming pass.

But when the bill came the following month, WTF charge me RM76!

Called help line but they say I request twice so charge me twice. What kind of logic is this?

but it seems to be fake, tried 4 times already, every time i submit it says error

I can only complain in their FB page. Hopefully they will reply.

How to unlock AE/AF lock during video recording?

When recording video on the iphone 7 plus, tap anywhere on the screen and it will lock the focus and exposure.
I thought this will only happen when long pressing, but normal tap once will also lock the focus and exposure.

During photo capture mode, tap anywhere else when AE/AF lock will unlock it.
But this doesn't work during video.

Is there a way to return to continuous auto focus mode after tap to focus while recording?

I wish to change my light and fan switch to a smart switch.

Any idea how should I connect? My current switch looks like this.

It has red yellow and blue.
Which i think that Red is supposed to be live, blue is neutral, yellow is earth.

My new switch looks like this, it has 4 ports
~N
~L in
~L1 Out
~L2 Out

How should I connect it? where does the ground go? How to do the Live connection?

Question about stamp duty

I am buying my first property, price is 450k.
According to the lawyer, first time buyer get stamp duty exemption for the first rm300k,
meaning only kena tax for 450k-300k=150k

but when processing, half way i was informed no more exemption because government claims my property value is 520k.
need to pay extra RM7+k. strange because the bank valuer rate the property at around 470k.

has this sort of thing happen to you all?
government's valuer rate your property much higher than it really is?

suck it up and pay? or go complain? complain to who?
