Hi all,

I have submitted personal loan with Al Rajhi for 48 months tenure of repayment. Its via salary deduction. I have paid for 35 months and there's balance of 13 months which i decided to make early settlement on it so that i can enjoy 100% of my hard earn monthly income.

I have submitted 'request for redemption statement' last week and today their HQ has email me the figure need to pay within 3 months still valid.

Called them to ask some more and sadly there are no rebates offered. Is it true? I never have issue of repayment as im on salary deduction and good payer never give bank headache.

So, how's other banks doing? Is there really have rebate? To how months can i get? Should i fight or appeal? I put hope at least 1 month waive, but my assumption are wrong

Thanks

Wanna buy Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Hi all,

Im currently using Blackberry Curve 8520 with 2G capability. i know you will laugh..Now what? 4G LTE liao right? So, i wanna new phone probably tonight or tomorrow im going to get it. I aiming the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But yet confuse either buy device only from Samsung itself or the one with network.

FYI, currently my plan is the DIGI Unlimited Internet, the one with RM68 monthly, plus i also subscribed the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS). Okay, if i buy device only, well, its expensive RM2399 but no contract and the phone is really mine. Second, if i buy with network, nowadays plan are really weird. take time for me to understand it. Apart from that i don't want to loose my current plan which is very low commitment.

im with Digi. 3 years already. your thought are really appreciated. Or you guy can suggest me how can i setup my plan if i go for plan, and where is the cheapest and offering good price, longer warranty and also some goodies with it if i bought device only.

urgent opinion needed. Thanks.

Advice on investment

Hi all,

i have invested in CWA,

i) the Dali Equity Growth Fund which the agent withdrawn from the my EPF account 1 every 3 months. and all i open a

ii)private saving account also, which i do standing instruction. this is my own initiative for saving where CWA will auto deduct from my CIMB saving account.

if you guys heard, starting 2014, government have increase the minimum balance in account 1 of the EPF. Im 28y/o, previously is only 14k, now up 50% to 21k. so, my agent cant do withdrawal until my account 1 goes up again and met the minimum requirement for withdrawal.

so, as i just recently join this CWA, my agent only manage to do withdrawal 1 time only and couldn't withdraw anymore until my account 1 have increase to the minimum requirement. he say, see la, if your company give you good bonus, good increment and adjustment, then account 1 increased then you can let us know so that we can do withdraw from your EPF.

so, i got stuck here, now im only rely on the private saving account only. so, i also look at other way of investing, one of it is doing the ASB loan. most of the bank like MBB,CIMB and RHB which have surveyed. it only give -1.5 from the BLR. and i ask my friend, if i do 50k, 12 month later after dividend have announced, i can roughly get +-7k.

so how? guys, should i maintain do CWA, dont cancel it or cancel, and do ASB way? or any other investment worth of doing? advice please and thanks in advance.

Motorbike accident

I had motorbike accident at Federal Highway motorbike lane last 3 weeks.

How it happen: i was on my direction from KL to PJ, in the lane, there's a bike from left side of the lane want to go to right side of the lane to exit the lane to the main road. Without giving signal or turn his head to look rear, the guy himpit me and we colliding each other. (guy riding RXZ with no side mirror installed).

Result: My right foot got swelling and he is much worst, kaki lubang liao saw tulang. Generous Malaysia help us to slow down other bikers in the lane and ambulance came pick us up and went to PPUM. Doc said, i got no fracture and I've discharged whereby he was send to emergency as he is fainted. Then i went to make police report (only report then go home, didnt snap picture on my bike as my bike left at the site) and MC 2 weeks to rest.

Two weeks later, lawyer letter was sent to my house, so i realized, he already make police report and as per the letter, and the law firm is his peguam bela. i could be charge by law if i didnt return call/respond to the letter.

During at the PPUM on the accident day, many this runner work with law firm introduced himself and give their business card and ask me to call them for further action. i haven't call anyone yet.

anyway, while my foot healing i have went to specialist and use my company medical benefit for treatment, consultancy & physiotherapy.

what should i do? im an engineer and buzy with my work (site-office-site-office-site-office all the time) and this letter kept bugging me. Yelah kan, i dont mind about my bike, i can repair by myself although it is that guy fault. i start thinking it could be concerning to his insurance claiming or what-so-ever. Advice please.
Choosing loan

im buying a under construction apartment and recently the agent and me submit the required documents to few bank developer's panel bank. so far, here is the offer.

before that, my house detail: apartment 1041sqft, price RM275k, completion on Mid 2015. this is my 1st house, really love it and within my budget.

1st offer: MayBank

Loan only 80%+MRTT for both me and wifey. BFR -2% only. installment around RM11XX.00 for 35years. Legal fee need to pay also. No lock in period, BFR ceiling rate 10%. and he said my commitment really high and i know that. and will appeal for me for 85% with BFR -2.3% which i still, sighhh.....

my comment: yes, like i heard around, maybank really strict and i really disappointed. thinking of let go of this.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2nd offer: Bank Islam

Loan 100%+MRTT for both me and wifey. Only pay legal fee around RM6K++ after sign LOA. this one a bit different. ok like this,

1st year interest 2.5% only. FIXED! She told me installment only like RM583 for 12months. waaa, i smile ed.
2nd year interest 5%!!! FIXED! still ok 1153 per month i think.
3rd year until 32years bfr -2.2% installment is RM14XX.XX like that

My comment: at first i really aim for this, because as i submit document she told me will get 100% with -2.4%. but now only -2.2% only. and thinking of taking this one. why? because, i dont want to pay or no money to pay the 10% downpayment, EPF not eough, combine with wifey oso not eough. personal loan?? hmm...lat reason, but i rather not.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3rd offer: Ambank
Loan 90%+MRTT: RM 6,355.00 (for both applicant), Tenure: 35years Rate: BFR – 2.40%,Installment: RM1,155.00. and legal fee
my comment: this is sound familiar, normally heard everywhere when buying first house.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

some advice please. if got pro here, please calculate it, wanna see the margin and the different between all these 3. im not good at this 'banking banking' calculation. all these 3 offer are waited for me to meet them to get the LOA.

choosing tyre for my MB W203

hi

im driving the MB Class W203. Currently using the COntinental SportContact 3, size 225/45 R 17(low profile). Kinda wondering is there any other tyre brand that could do better fuel consumption, good grip and much more quite than the one on my wheel?
