http://forum.lowyat.net/ Thu, 11 Jun 2026 11:34:00 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3025299 Guys, would like to gain some thoughts from all of you for me to decide whether I shall move or I shall stay...................<br /><br />I am facing a serious dilemma in choosing career now...... rclxub.gif <br /><br />My situation now:<br />- working with developer for almost a year (executive), marketing<br />- salary around 3k+, got allowance (work on saturday) + mileage claims ... ends up around 4.5k plus sometimes<br />- working hours (9am-6pm), only got 1 weekend off once a month, work on sunday get 1 replacement on weekday.<br />- need to travel 60+km to work place <br />- i myself hoping to grow in developer line...<br /><br /><br />Some offer:<br />- working with jap.co banking (senior officer aka branch manager)<br />- salary is 10% higher + allowance + claims ... ends up around 4k<br />- working hours (9am-6pm), monday to friday only, choose 1 saturday to work for 1 particular month<br />- walking distance to office<br />- afraid of less career growth<br /><br />Some other reason to consider...<br />- got wife.. soon got kid<br />- wife working too<br />- i got 2 years experience for banking line<br /><br />looking for your kind thoughts...
