Surface 3: Screen has a tempered glass but the body is a bit beaten up. Everything is working though, buttons are all okay and not mushy. Comes with the tablet itself and the black touch cover (no pen), and the charger + cable. Bring your own mouse, micro-USB cable, Bluetooth device, etc etc to test as much as you want.

How's the latency in WoW with screamyx's BB service lately? I'm going back to Msia soonish so I'd like a 'decent' connection without having to reset my router a billion times before getting a decent connection (wtf is with that anyway?!?).

Fact is I still have nightmares of WoW running with 1000ms latency before I left for Melbourne.

Two Streamyx connections? Possible?

I'm thinking of setting up another Streamyx connection at home. Is it possible to have two connections at the same time? I know I need two phone accounts but do I have to rewire the physical phone lines? Anyone here know the details?

Is anyone experiencing the same problem that I'm facing right now? My net connection is prone to disconnections usually in the morning and the latency to International servers goes up pretty high especially during Msian prime time. And after 2am or so, it drops considerably. Oh yeah, there are intermittent lag spikes too and is most noticable when playing online games and streaming music/video contents.

This all happened after my original port got busted and TM switched me to a different one. I used to be on the 219.x.x./218.x.x.x line and everyone was fine but now I'm on the 60.48/49/50/51 line. 60.49/51 used to be sliky smooth till a about a month ago and now all ip ranges are like shite. Any opinions? Please don't rant here, I'm just looking for a solution or suggestion to tell Streamyx when I call them the next time.

Anyone of you here using external 3.5' HDD cases? I recently got mine and after an hour of use, it got really hot. I mean REALLY REALLY hot. So hot I couldn't pick it up without using a cooking mitten. Is that normal? I know that HDD's especially 7200RPM ones like mine give out lots of heat but this is just absurd!

Speakers...or no speakers

I'm tired of seeing two big white blocks on my desk. Do you guys hook up normal speakers to your laptops or just use the internal ones?

I'm testing my internal speakers right now and the sound ain't that bad. But I'm a tad bit worried that playing music for the entire day might damage my lappie (vibrations, etc). Any opinions?
