AEON Early Settlement Bike

Hi All,

I have a current B brand bike, with loan amount of 4.5k (18 month) left to be paid under AEON.

Problems keep arising on this bike, so I plan to do early settlement and sold the bike while it still not completely useless lol. I have cash available to do early settlement from i-sinar.

Should I do it?

Sifus,

Planning to upsize my Iriz from 175/65R14 to 195/55R15. Is it a good move or should I go for 185/60R15?

As I plan to upgrade the rim, budget is on the tight side. So I wont go for PS3

Many suggested to go for Hankook V12 Evo2 but also read that it is quite noisy. Stock tire for Iriz is Silverstone Synergy M3 and it is very noisy.

There is also CC6 which the most quiet tire as netizens suggest but also read that it is too soft. My brother using this on his Almera and yes, can feel the softness

For now, I see that I am leaning towards Goodyear Assurance Triplemax2 but hard to find reviews as it just launched this year. However, the previous Triplmax1's review was very good.

Found this shop at Shah Alam, it is a good deal? I also considering Kumho PS31 as the reviews are also good.

Plan to buy a new motorcycle

Already using FZ150i but it basically my dad's lol. My honda Future is getting worse

Plan to get a 150cc moped but I think, it would be better to upgrade to a 250cc bike.

I'm thinking of buying a Cafe Racer style bike, either KTNS GP250 (if FI, so far no info yet) or CMC Bucaneer 250 Fi. Both price aroung 12k and 15k respectively

Should I go for it?

Prescription Lens for Better Night Driving

Hi All,

I'm only 27 y/o, but I have difficulties to see during night time driving, due to glare from lights of other cars coming to me and even from the streetlights. I have also had a hard time when driving in heavy rain

I went to a couple of optical shops today and they suggested to upgrade my eyeglass to a special coated lens, which will help to see clearer at night. One suggested the HOYA brand (forgot which product) and the other suggested ZEISS DriveSafe lenses. Both cost around RM700 with the former do include the frame included but the latter don't.

Is my condition normal to other people as well? Do you experience the same thing? Should I buy a new pair of eyeglasses with that aforementioned special lens?

p/s:
1) I don't have difficulties to see at night in general (i think), just during driving
2) Both optical shops didn't perform any eye test on me

Hi All,

I just got a job offer from another company and while I have mentioned during email conversation and in the interview, that my current employment would require me to serve 2-month notice period upon submitting the resignation letter, the new company still stated on the job offer that they expect me to start in 1 month or earlier if possible.

How likely that my current employer will shorten my 2-month notice period?

Also, if my current employer rejects my request, and the new company would cancel the offer because of that longer notice period, would I be put in awkward situation in my current company?

Preliminary Pre-employment Assessment

Hi All,

Have you guys ever attended a preliminary pre-employment assessment in Malaysia?

I read that it is a common practice in other countries but this is the first time I was asked to attend such thing.

I also read that this assessment will involve physical, personality, drug test etc

just want to confirm that if this kind of assessment doesnt involve any face to face interview? is it just writing test? or maybe application solving test?

p/s: havent able to ask for clarification from the company due to just got the invitation late at 4 pm yesterday and I was too busy in my current jobs. The assessment will be next week tho on Wed. So before I ask for clarification from them maybe on Monday or Tuesday, I hope I can gain an insight here first. Btw, in the invitation, the HR mentioned specifically that this will be a 90 minutes thing max

Air Cooler for Kampung House

Hi Guys,

Since it is quite hot nowadays, I am thinking to buy an air cooler. Compared to an air cond unit, air cooler should be cheaper.

I want to put it in the living area and since the windows are always open, i read that air cooler is much better in this situation, compared to air-cond which need to close window to operate more efficiently

However, did some reading in the k/ museum that air cooler is a waste of money for the weather in MY

What you guys think?

Just know, I received an email & sms from them about the application stated that they are currently reviewing my position and asked me to come to their talk on September. I'm actually surprised they replied so quick now I'm sceptical that this may be a scam. Hey guys, i'm torn between these 2. Which one is better?

My family recently moved in to my grandpa house because my mom want to take care of him. Obviously i need internet in the house. Fibre is impossible because this is kampung area.

I've read about 0 contract internet (with mifi) from umobile. I think it's affordable for 10gb (5+5). But the only downside is the router is limited to 5 users only. Does it means only 5 device can be used at a time?

Then, it's digi wireless mifi. Idk if it has contract or not. Couldnt find the info at their website. While it can be used up to 10 users, once quotas are achieved, intrnet is cut off, not gone to throttled speed.

Please help me choose. Or if it seems i have been missing relevant or significant information about these 2, please tell me!
