Contract Signing

Hello Sifu's

I am working in Position A on contract for 2 months which will expire end of this month (31 Aug 2013).
I have applied for another Position B which is due for interview. IF I passed the interview and get the job. The job maybe start around October 2013.
But, for my current position (Position A), they will offer me a new different contract on mid September 2013. I just need to sign now (because I was manpower supplied to Client)

Now I am dilemma to sign the new contract A that has been offered to me because I am waiting for the interview Position B.
IF signed the contract A, who knows I get the job for Position B. This make I need to send the cancellation of the contract position A that I signed. I am not sure it is a wise things to do

Sounds like the thing I can do is delaying the contract A signing. The contract start mid September but the agent insist to sign it by this week

What else I should do?

Good Morning All,

Have u ever been buying online? I want to know about the customs clearance.

Let say I want to buy things from Japan (Gundam, etc etc). Some website I read, they said they will not bear the cost of customs clearance. I am not sure about that and how will I receive my purchase.

Have anyone of you done this before? Buying online from oversea, then need to do customs clearance? Since I'm from East Msia, do I need to go to KL to get my things? Thanks in advance

Hi All,

I am currently at Dept A. So I heard there is vacant position at Dept B which is I am very interested, really want it since it is my passion. I know both HOD's of those departments. They know me too, but not very close lah.

So now, I already told my superior regarding that which is requesting to jump to another dept since it is my passion and I am really into that job since it is related to my background of study. But my superior like acting carefree.

So, the question is, it is proper if I go ask my HOD that I want to jump dept? Or it is better if I go ask directly to the HOD of the Dept B? Or I just push my superior or just let it go?

I do not want to regret on my action later on, even though its different dept, but it still the same company. And the this dept sit next to each other. I hope I can do right as I will see my superior/HOD everyday even I work at different department.

i bought sgs2 last month. they claimed it is ori set. it PW (platinum wave) sticker behind the phone. i search the internet, but i cant found what is dat company/brand. hmm. now i know that ori set is by SEP. anyone out there ever heard this - PLATINUM WAVE. aiya.look like me kena cong already

hi guys. its always debatable which one is the good graphic card for our laptop/PC. currently im searching laptop and I choose ASUS. now, what confusing me is the graphic card for the laptop. im not heavy gamer, but at least i can play COD: black ops on my laptop at least medium setting These are my choices (both can play in high setting );

does the windows exp index matter? gaming graphics for ATI and Nvidia is 6.8 and 6.7 respectively and graphic desktop performance for aero is 6.5 and 5.7 respectively

as I ask salesperson. most of them recommend me to buy ATI. its hardly to find ASUS performance series using ATI, most of them GeForce GT 520M to 540M. there are only one using ATI which is Radeon HD 6370M. as i read the review on notebookcheck.com, the gc mostly the same.

these are the rumours/myth that i heard about ATI VS NVidia.

1. ATI always go on performance compare than Nvidia. Nvidia mostly view the graphics setting Ultra in most games but the performance, gameplay smoothness always win for ATI.

2. ATI is more have more lifespan compare than Nvidia due to when running laptop at normal status, ATI will go operating on intergrated gc, while Nvidia cannot.

3. Most games recommends Nvidia?

This is what i heard, this doesnt mean I am bias towards ATI, but this is what i heard from salesperson and some read on the intehnet.

halo all

I will start my job next week after finish my study 4 months ago.

the things is, my convocation will be held on this earlier October and Im from east malaysia. so I have to fly for my convocation. furthermore, there are many things to settle before the convocation day (clearance, taking rob, etc). my question is:

1. is it appropriate for me to apply for leave? I just start I will sign my contract next Thursday, is it okay for me to tell them that I need leave on early October during that time?

2. my friends told me I cant apply for annual leave because I just start. the leave must be somehow like cumulative depend on how long I have been worked there.it is true? can someone clarify me on this?

sure I can still go to my convo without leave. but there will be hassle, after work, I have to fly and my day of convo is Sunday, the next day is working.from my uni to KLIA sure takes time.also,I will have to go again to my uni other time to make clearance. furthermore, i will get the rob that is not my size

CSR career path

Hallo all.
Im fresh graduate in Mechatronics Engineering.
I've been offer Graduate Engineer by O&G company and i accept it.
My position is deputy CSR.
Im quite confuse, is deputy CSR is graduate engineer level?

what bother me most is;
1. what is future career path in this position?
2. am i still able to be an engineer in the future?
