If this is not the right thread, I apologise and please advise where it should be.

I am interested in setting up a community forum site, wondering if any of you gurus out there would be able to advise:

1. Can it be set up as a free forum site (it is a nonprofit organisation for the community so prefer free services)

2. Do I need to have my own domaiin?

3. Do i have to have my own webserver?

4. How do i start??

Appreciate any advise thank you!
