Hi, i wanna ask. Is there an adaptor/bridge can you can put in a normal PCI slot to convert it to a PCIe x16 slot?

PC no display

I have an IBM Thinkpad T43. Right now when i turn it on there is no lcd display (no boot screen also) and it doesnt seem to boot up, but the fan runs. Last night it was ok but there were some weird noises from the fan when i was watching a movie. Anyone can help?

Changing graphic card

Hi, i have a computer with the following specs:

Intel Atom 230 1.60 GHz Processor
1 gb RAM
Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family Graphics

Im thinking of getting a low end video card (Zotec GeForce 512 MB DDR2 VRAM) for it so i can play some games like left 4 dead, left 4 dead 2, and some other new games even in the lowest settings. Think its worth it?
