Bash script for reboot

Hi guys, I am doing some testing on a linux system. I want to reboot the system once the start startup and go into OS. How to write the bash script? What is in my mind is add sleep and reboot line in rc file. But after I think awhile, it might cause the system keep reboot and unable to go into system to change the startup script. Need some helps here.

Problem with ./proc

I am developing some applications for an embedded system which running on debian linux. Just now I use du command to check the system in / folder, i found out ./proc eat a lot storage. But inside the folder, I cant find anything used up that much storage. How can I clear the ./proc storage? Another strange situation is, some of the applications, they use 5 digits PID. Previously, they are only went to 4 digits. So I am thinking may be is the ./proc cause this strange situation. Is there anyway to solve this problem? Thank you.

Need help on my car problem

My car is proton iswara, and age is more than 10 years. It is a manual car.
Recently, my car is keep shaking when ever it stop. It only will stop shaking when I press accelerator.
When it shaking, the RPM meter is show lower than 1, around 0.6 like that. When the RPM reach around 0.9, the car will stop shaking.
Anyone know what is the problem? Thank you.

Qt 3.3.8 C++ list problem

Currently I am using C++ Qt 3.3.8 to do coding.
I have a list to show in GUI.
What I want to do is I select one of the item from the list, and then I press up button,
the item will move up, or press down button, the item can move down.
How can I do this in Qt 3.3.8? I am doing research on QListViewItemIterator to get some idea, but no luck. Any sifus can guide me on this? Thanks.

Currently, im configuring dual network interface for sun blade with solaris 10.
I able to connect to the network with the second interface, but after reboot, i have to start the interface manually.
How can I start the interface automatically after reboot? Thanks.

I watched demo and saw the players throw flashbang and bomb very fast, but my one cant do it.
After throw the first flash, it will changed to weapon. How to change it to go to second flash instead of weapon? Or how to change it to go to previous used equip?

Upgrade streamyx 1m to 4m problem

I want to upgrade my line from 1m to 4m and I went to TM point to apply.
The guys at there told me that my area got 2m and 4m line, so I upgrade my line to combo 4m package.
After few days waiting, the result I got is my area got 2m and 4m line, but dont know why cannot work well.
That is the answer that TM point ppl gave me. So I am wondering does anyone face this problem? And also do 4m line use different kind of modem which different with what we using for 1m line?

Slow scrolling in firefox OpenSUSE 11.1

I found out that when im surfing facebook in firefox 3.0.4, the scrolling is not smooth. And when scrolling that time, the processing power will go quite high until the scrolling stop. Some websites can scroll very smooth. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

locate command problem in OpenSUSE 11.1

I installed findutils-locate in my OpenSUSE 11.1. Locate command is inside edi, but when i try to use the locate command, it shows nothing to me.
The screen is like below:
jordan@my-laptop:~>locate test.txt
jordan@my-laptop:~>

The file is inside one, but the output show nothing.
It suppose to show like below:
jordan@my-laptop:~>locate test.txt
/home/jordan/Desktop/test.txt
jordan@my-laptop:~>

Got any idea on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

use python to automate firefox

Im doing a project that require us to use python to automate firefox.
I have a list of URLs, and I want to use python to pump the URL into firefox.
My problem is how to use python to check the firefox finish load the 1st website, and it is time to go for the second URL.
I know that in IE, we can use cPamie to check the loading status, but how to do that in firefox?

I installed slackware into VMware, but i cant set the root password.
When it asked me to put a root password, i chose ok. But the same question come out again and got no where for me to configure root password.
After that, i choose cancel. When i restart, the system cant start the desktop environment. I tried startx command, it doesnt work as well.
Anyone know how to set the root password? The system cannot start the desktop environment is it because i din set the root password?

How to switch to another gun faster?

For example, im using AK and i want to switch to deagle. Before i can use deagle, the character will turn deagle one round. How can i switch to deagle without the turn around action? Thats mean after i changed, i can directly shoot without delay.
