Maxed out 2017 MBP 13 TB or

I got an offer for the maxed out 2017 13” TB model with i7 (3.5ghz), 16GB of ram, 512gb of ssd for RM6600 (brand new sealed in box).
I’m battling within myself if I should get the 2018 TB base model instead with a quad core processor, T2 chips, better keyboard, True Tone display etc.
The Mac will be solely use for learning purpose at home with some light internet browsing. My main concern is the longevity of the Mac for the next few years as I will want to keep this Mac for at least 3 years.
*ps I owned a 2017 13 base model (Tb) for a year and sold it off due to screen issue, this would be my second Mac.
I did made my own research on many website but mostly ppl are comparing either the 2017 13 W/out touchbar and the 2018 tb base model hence I’m posting this out to seek for opinions. Thanks.

MNP from Digi postpaid to Celcom

Anyone did this before? I MNP from iDigi plan (already two years+) to the new Celcom first Basic 38. Went to Celcom center and fill in the form and they gave me a simcard, thats all. No receipt no payment needed, I was like what? There is no proves of me doing the MNP or whatsover, may I know is this normal or what? How long should I wait? Thanks in advance

Hello, not sure if it's right to open a new topic to discuss. So here's my problem. I have been wearing birkenstock gizeh for 1 year+ and by the first week i bought it, it already smell and stink like hell as my feet sweat alot and the sweat will fill up the footbed always Ever since I have to use water and toothbrush to clean it and the surface become rough edi However Im still very like to wear it because it feels damn comfortable wearing so... So now Im planning to get a fitflop man sandals to replace my birken. Any feedback from fitflop user? Should i get a fitflop instead of a new birkenstock? I want a shoes that is comfy and last long and wont stink. This is my stink as hell birken FYI

From W8 back to Windows 7 (using now)

My machine is now currently running Windows 7 after a year of usage on Windows 8 which I don't really feel great of using it after the system update to 8.1 which causes the system to slow down a lot. But after trying my friend's W8.1 fresh installed I am tempted to go back Windows 8.1 again. Windows 7 does serve me well thou without any lag or whatsoever. I am in great dilemma whether or not to go back to Windows 8.1 as the new metro view is so appealing (I know it is somewhat impractical for non-touch screen user) but in the same time I'm concerned with the usability of Windows 8.1 . Any advices from pros?
