Hi,

I am considering a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash Malaysia or an ESSEC Global BBA from Singapore campus.

Does anyone know how both programs can compare ? How strong and recognized is each program and which offers the best perspectives for a good graduate program or in terms of value on the job market in SEA region?

Hi,

I have sometimes some outages in my condo (mainly coming from kitchen area), it does not happen so often but still when it does, it creates a lot of trouble as it burns some appliances and/or I have no more electricity at all.
I talk to my wireman, he is serious but maybe more for small things but I suspect that I need to go for a serious & complete wiring inspection.

Does anyone can recommend a reputable company in Penang who does electrical inspection?

Issue with IPTV on Samsung TV

Hello,

I tried unsuccessfully with several IPTV apps and IPTV operators to make it work on my smart TV but It does not seems to work.

I see all the information about every program so signal is there but I got a black screen.
If I use IPTV on my phone (on the same network), it works well.

Anyone else run into this issue ?

Hello,

I would like to buy a new 3 in 1 wifi color printer (print-copy-scan), it is for home usage but I do not mind about laser or inkjet technology.
Wifi is a must as I want to be able to put it in any location at home.

However I would like a model that can be refilled by myself easily to save cost and still keep a good printing quality.

Any suggestion about which model to buy?

I am a foreigner and consider hiring a full time/live in helper for my elderly mother in Penang.
She is not sick or ill but just old and cannot walk much so it is mainly to assist with meal, toilet and this sort of things

How difficult is it to find a suitable, well trained helper ?

Hi,

We are foreigners and we have just received a letter concerning a loan we have with an international bank in Malaysia stating :

"Dear Sirs, we would like to inform you that effective x March 2018, your loan instalment will be revised to MYRxxxx"

No other information .

Increase is about + 60% and I know that bank Negara increased its interest rate in january but I am surprised about a such increase.

There has never been any default whatsoever so I wonder what give them a such right ? Can they increase by let say 200% in a few months if they just wish to do so ?

Most of security doors are in metal and really do not look good , I have no doubt it offers the best security but something like armor concept would be sufficient for my condo.

Water filter for condo

Hi,

I am renovating my condo in Penang.

I have been told that water was officialy safe there but still, I would like to add a good filter for better safety.

Either for the all condo or on water supply just before kitchen so we can drink tap water/make ice cube from our fridge.

I got a notification "notis Kadaran" for my condo in Penang.

Seems a bit expensive compared to other condo, even more expensive in same area.

Can anyone explain me how this tax is calculated ?

Contractor payment and contract ?

Hi,

I am ready to start my renovation mid february.

I got a quotation from a contractor that is Ok for me and payment terms are like that :

30% upon confirmation, progressive payment and balance upon completion.

Those terms seems correct to me ? What is your opinion ?

Do we have to sign a official contract with contractor before making the first payment ?

I want to make sure about that there is no delay, do we have to state the start and finish date on the contract ? Is there a standard document ?
