Hire Purchase early settlement PBB

Any pro hire purchase banker here, if from PBB will more much better

If I would like to make early settlement for my hire purchase at pbb, what is the proper step taken before I go to the main branch?

From my agreement, the main branch seems to be from KL HQ branch

I try to call to the helpline but its not very helpful

1) asking for balance - cannot answer
2) asking for early settlement amount + rebates - cannot answer
3) asking for settlement payment method - not certain

in the end, ask me to go to the main branch and get everything settle there

If so, I need to take leave and go but i hope i can really settle in 1 day

anyone / any banker here can advise what is the proper way to prep for this?

went to the counter to do withdrawal, it was like so many years since last time i did it when i am still a secondary student, have to carry bank book and fill up stupid low quality form then take number and wait. This shit of procedure never change until today

reached the counter, the officer ask for my bank book and look at the form i filled then comment : you shouldn't tick this if you wanna do withdrawal (ok fine)

then ask for my thumbprint verification - completed

then suddenly.....she said : your signature aren't the same with the system

so what can i do? she said : can you try to remember on how is your signature back then?

you look at my bankbook and you should know it have been years that i haven't do this kind of counter thing

you got my IC verified, you got my bank book verified, i even let you check on my atm card a.k.a debit card and now you stop me because my signature not same?

she said : yes (look at me very seriously)

ok fine , can you let me see how my signature looks like in the system?

she reject and said sorry but she hinted me that actually the line i draw in the middle should be longer

then i try to visualize and put my signature up with that so called line to be longer

she check on it, put in front her eyes, put in front the PC, show me those doubting faces and said : Ok lar , proceed !!!!

Here we go, 2 more months to go to the end of the year which mean CAR industry is on the move to throw out year end car

I plan to change my old car and browsing through some car online channel like carlist, mudah etc then i got few contacts which I am interested to inquiry further

I call up seller A (a girl, voice very sweet) on a car i am interested in, she provide me some promo as below
- x rebates
- tinted voucher
- coating voucher
- low interest rate
- plus some useless accessories

I replied (Actually i just try to bluff her, to check if she is sincere on those promo) : Hey, outside giving this promo (i put 30% higher), why yours so low ?

She said : You want i also can give you, you happy I also happy

Me : If like that, surely I want the offer which is higher than what i see (then i heard a lot of calculator sound)

After few minutes, she said : Ok LARRR, last price "pretty pretty one" , 35% higher than what i mentioned but no other stuff FREE ya, i nearly naked already if you still request

Me : Damn, you sell car until naked? need mou? she laugh !

After that i book an appointment with her to see and test the car

I call up another seller B (a guy) on the same car, he provide me the same promo as the girl offered initially

Then I use the same way to reply him but this time i increase 40% which is 5% more than the last price offered by the girl to see what this guy can offer

He replied : Who give you that offer? Let me think ya (no calculator sound,just silent this time)

After few minutes, he come back to me and said : OK LARRR, you don't need to go anywhere to survey anymore, i give you (50% higher) and FREE you security tinted

Me : You da man, when can we meet up?

After that I request that guy to whatssap me the detail on the offer in term of discount, free stuff as well as loan detail

Then I captured the screen and sent to the girl

I said : I don't really mean to make you naked, but looks like someone out there is ready to rape you

She replied : How is this possible?

Me : Can you top that? If you can't then looks like i have to cancel our appointment already

At the end, she took 1 full day then only reply me : I can't do that for you, sorry and that guy must be selling his ass to give you that kind of offer

My wonder : What is the MAX offer that a car salesperson can give? It's a myth unless you are the salesperson !!!

I never really go into detail on how the whole rental procedure work, i need some clue on all the level and stages needed to go through for incident prevention like

1) renting to a foreigner? how to make sure we have all the document on hand to protect the owner in case anything happen?
2) furniture damage
3) not paying electric bill
4) not paying rental
5) disappear
6) what to prepare before renting out the property

any rental player or sifu here can lighten me up with your experience and knowledge?

Kids behavior these day

A normal shopping day at MR-DIY, i was browsing some item in the shop, suddenly 1 little kid (should be 3-4 years old) hit me from no where and he shouted at me " TEPI LARRRR" and

stare at me in the eyes like "I am gonna kick your butt very hard".

Actually that impact is like an accidentally shoulder hit with people, which felt nothing for me but the tone that he use on me is quite unacceptable

I look around and i spotted his dad which is only about 1 meter area and his dad pretend like nothing happen so I keep staring at his dad hopefully he aware with his kid but yet he just refuse to look at me

At that moment i know his dad do aware, it just that he don't know how to react (probably don't want to apologize)

So i decided to stare back at the kid, the first few second he is still very firmed and angry like wanna pick up a fight but after a while he suddenly get shocked and cried

**i didn't do anything, all i do is doing a clown face to him** LOL

This round his father finally come over but yet he is still refused to talk, so he just come over, pulled his son and said " Tu lar, jangan kacau orang "

Am I invisible or what ?

I just don't understand, if the people that bang by his son is someone who is hot temper, i think he already get slap for few times

parents nowadays......kids nowadays.....really facepalm

I went to eat chicken rice at Jln Gasing last weekend, 1 old man request to share table with me

Of course i won't mind, once he sat down, he asked......

**OM = old man

OM : young man, do you went to university? what do you study?

Me : blah blah blah ...

OM : That's great, i used to be a lecturer in a well known university but i am retired already

Me : Oic, so what do you teach last time?

OM : Do you know what is Insurance Degree? There is the only Degree that Malaysia recognized in Insurance industry and its the only one under University MARA

Me : Wow, sound interesting, it must be a prospective future path for graduates

OM : Ya, it is, you know, after they graduated , they can straight to be at least executive level or higher management level when they built up their experiences further

Me : I do have some knowledge in Insurance but its more toward selling , so for the Degree that you teach, is it more on creating rules and regulation and designing insurance plan?

OM : Young man, salesperson in insurance is the lowest rank in the organization hierarchy, people who work for the company after getting this degree is stand on the top you know, they can even be CEO if they manage to, do you think salesperson can? They are just like the chinaman asking around for business and cheat people

Me : I see, so what is the syllabus of your degree? What they actually do and learn then? any cert needed?

OM : Doing Admin young man, admin

Me : Uncle, so how is the Insurance company generate their revenue?

OM : Of course by selling Insurance Plan

Me : So who are the one who sell it?

OM : ..........young man, you are still new to the society, after 10 years time you will know

Me : Ya, i am still young, i just blend into society and work for 10 years only, if i need 20 years just to realize and understand the things you tell it then i am wondering what i need to go through in this 20 years

Reason for sale:
-My company is doing clearance from their store and only open for employees
-This laptop is considered old model for now and when my company bought it for employees, it is meant for performing virtual machine testing
-So they have upgraded the RAM to the MAX and upgraded the storage to 1TB drive with 8GB Flash
-The price already been informed, not sure still can discount more or not (will nego with my HR if got serious buyer here)
-I don't earn anything from selling this, me currently already having an high end desktop, server and my company soon will buy new laptop for me, so i don't need it although this is a great deal
-It is just helping up people here who is looking for great spec laptop with good price and it is NEW unit, not refurbished unit
-The only disadvantages is the expiring of the warranty but the battery had been replaced on June to claim under last month warranty, so it shouldn't be a problem
-You can't buy Latitude direct from Dell Malaysia, its basically built for business user
-Its open box so that i can test up everything before handed over to potential buyer

Date crossing SNP period

I had bought a property (i-city i-soho) back to the date i signed SNP is 4th Jan 2014

From the agreement, developer stated that will vp after 42 months which is this coming July 4th would be full 42 months.

My question is

if they couldn't deliver on this july 4th, what can i do?

Worst newly bought furniture experience

The whole story i will keep it short and simple, this post is not about cursing any shop/anyone or "boikot" somebody business. It is mainly written to remind everyone that if you are buying something that is very particular on the detail, instead of putting time on choosing the best and price reasonable product , the most important thing is choosing the right people to handle your item.

The story begin

Early January before CNY
------------------------------
I renovated my room, my final checklist is to buy a 8x8 wardrobe.
After survey, the comparison between custom made and ready made is huge especially on the price.
After discussing with my gf, we decided to go for ready made wardrobe and we have found this shop https://www.facebook.com/phcsusj/
We went to their branch at subang, saw a very nice vintage type of wardrobe, quoted 2600 (my gf don't like, she prefer modern type)
We went to their branch at 222, saw a modern type of wardrobe, quoted 1900 include shipping and installation.
We decided to buy it and request to sent it over my house before CNY

Delivery and installation day [One week before CNY]

3 installers came (1 indian 2 bangla)
My house is landed and my room situated at 2nd floor, so they have to move all the parts up and it required some skill to move
One of the bangla bang 1 of the major part, got scratch (they explain that part can be fix)
After install, they did a mistake as they miss one installation step
In order to fix it, they have to dissemble 3 other major parts and install again (consequences is : drilling more holes on the body)

Finally finish, i did some checking on the body, found few faulty issues
1) Aluminium track bended
2) Sliding door couldn't close properly
3) the compartments installed aren't fit
4) The drilling holes does not cover with cap
5) Sliding door movement create unusual noisy sound

The 3 installers explain and provide below excueses
1) my room floor not even
2) Aluminium track do not effect the movement of the sliding door
3) they forget to bring silicon glue to cover the hole
4) those noisy sound is normal
5) the compartments are suppose to look like that
I have told them that those excuses won't help and solve the problem as they seems to avoid and escape.
At the end, they ask me to contact the salesperson that sell me this wardrobe and ask her to engage someone from HQ to fix this

1st follow up

I call to the salesperson, she said will look into it and promise me will settle it before cny

2nd follow up

3 days before CNY, she said she is still waiting for HQ to revert, will get back to me ASAP

3rd follow up

1 day before CNY, she said there is no way they can make it because its already CNY, she will arrange someone to come over during CNY

4rd follow up

During CNY, everyone is busy, so i call up to ask for exact timing and date, eventually i found out that she block me and i couldn't reach her anymore

5th follow up
---------------
I call to the number provided in FB and a Chinese lady follow up my case, she said someone will come and fix it (the so called manager)

6th follow up
---------------
That manager called me and give me the timing and date that he will sent people over to fix ( I do provide him the info, all the pictures on every faulty mistake on the wardrobe)

7th follow up
---------------
He sent 2 installers over (2 indians) , when they check on the wardrobe, one of the indian told me that everything is so wrong and he explain to me that the 3 installers that engaged to do my wardrobe are NEWLY recruit and
they know nothing about installing furniture, all they know is drilling and inserting screw

He said he will discuss with the manager on either replace all the faulty parts or replace the whole new wardrobe
(One ridiculous thing he have told me is : thanks god for sending him over to save you, or else you will have a broken wardrobe to use)
*sounded like i deserve it and it should be my punishment if its wasn't him

8th follow up

The manager called me and said he will replace all the faulty parts and will arrange that GOD's guy to fix it

9th follow up

The god's guy came over, replace all the faulty part, the only part that didn't replace is the body (which mean there will be more holes drilling)
*imagine almost 30-40 holes on the body just to cover those mistake
Finally its done and he ask me to use it for a week and see if its nice and fixed

10th follow up
----------------
I use it for 3 days, found out the sliding door couldn't close nicely, it will leave a space cap as big as my hand palm. I called the manager and ask if this is normal, he said no, it might be due to the roller setting.
He will sent the god's guy to come and check

11th follow up
-----------------
God's guy came and he did some setting on the roller, at the end the problem still there
Finally he admit god couldn't help me anymore and he said its my home floor not even, so he can't do anything
I argue with him about the illogical excuse that he gave me, if floor not even, he suppose to have something that can measure and something that can put it underneath the wardrobe to make it even
he said yes, actually can be done that way but the wardrobe already been installed, there is no way they can lift it up and put something under the wardrobe as its too heavy to do so
he put all the blame on the previous installer and said this is the best he can do.
I ask if i can query this and replace the whole thing, he say cannot because there is no faulty on the wardrobe, uneven floor couldn't be treated as valid reason to replace the whole wardrobe as it require money and resources

12th follow up
----------------
I called to the manager and discuss with him again on how to solve this issue, he said he think of a solution to fix it which is putting a stopper at the end of the track to hold the door
I think it is a good suggestion but why they didn't do it at the first place?
He said that stopper aren't suppose to place on my wardrobe because it is use by other "MORE expensive wardrobe"
So i ask is it very expensive to get that stopper? if so then i willing to pay, he said nvm, he will provide for FREE

13th follow up
----------------
The god's guy came again and put in the stopper, he keeps on complimenting his manager for his willingness to solve my issue as it wasn't suppose to do that
Guess what, the stopper is a very small plastic piece that stick on the track, those piece of plastic don't even worth more than RM0.50
Finally my wardrobe issue fixed and i am relieved that its finally end.
Before they go, this god's guy ask me to pay RM50 service fee, i questioned him about it and he said i am the only customer that made him come more than 3 times so i should pay for his service
Immediately i call to the manager and ask him about this "3 times entertainment" thingy and he said there is no way that they can charge any cent on me
The god's guy eventually left (of course black face) and no longer mention god anymore

13 follow up, almost 3 months taken to solve a ready made 8x8 wardrobe and yet this NEW wardrobe i bought is only 80% complete.

Conclusion is, if you have budget, if you are very particular type of people, if you don't like to argue with others, go for custom made furniture.
At least those custom made comp are equip with well trained worker and could deliver good stuff (even its not 100% guarantee but the risk is lower)

Extra reminder, this shop did provide good stuff , only consideration is IF you wants to get big stuff from them which required installation, better think twice. chill

Motor VS Car Accident

A motor, driven without helmet by 2 underage teen, both 15 years old, came out from nowhere to enter the opposite lane and so unluckily, my gf car bang them.

One of them fall to the ground and hit her head hard then got fainted, the other just got wounded.

Bring them to the clinic and had to pay their medical bill at total RM120

Manage to contact their parents to talk about the settlement for repairing my gf car. Let me named the kid A and kid B

meet up at a petrol station, A parents willing to pay but they wish the B parents to share the repair bill. B parents rejected the solution given by us and they willing to do police report.

My most memorable quote that i got from B parents is "I don't have money, just do whatever you wants and report whatever you like"

At the end, A parents have to bring along kid B and B parents don't want to attend to the police station, such an ass****

Comes to the police station, we got to meet an inspector, the first thing comes to his mind is "i think you guys have to discuss it again"

A parents said they only have 500 which is far more lesser than the total repair cost so they expect B parents to share but B parents reject

The inspector made his statement clear "Do you aware underage driving is a crime and can be sue on court"?

A parents got silence and B kid just helplessly sitting there

At the end of the day, they choose the hardest path which is get the saman and prepare to go court.

When i talk with them about the medical bill, they try their best to escape. Gosh, it is so damn silly

Now, my gf have to koyak her NCD, pay their medical bill and no car to use for 2-3 weeks.

What disappoint me isn't the accident or the carelessness that those people had but a parents that willing to see their children to get sue on court but also don't want to find ways to help them.

If yesterday, both parents come to beg at my gf to ask for forgiveness and trying to nego to meet the best solution, i guess we are willing to share it as well because sometimes sincerity will solve a lot of issue but when i heard the parents said "do whatever you want, report whatever you like", its really burn me up

Ptptn negotiation

I bought a credit report from CTOS to check my credit score and the ptptn portion have been stated no outstanding.
I pay a visit to the branch to do the direct debit to enjoy 10% discount due to the budget 2017 proposal. The process of doing it as below
1)visit any ptptn office, the officer will give you a form to fill up. All the information entry must be precise and in the correct format as it will affect the outcome of the bank approval to do direct debit.
2)if you have outstanding amount in your ptptn account, then have to clear it first even it is RM1.
3)the amount of perform direct debit must be equal or more than your schedule payment, if your schedule payment is RM100/month, then you can choose to pay >=RM100. I would suggest to pay more because within the discount period, whatever amount that you pay will entitle 10%, if you pay 500/month then every month you will enjoy 50 discount and this amount will be deducted from your whole loan amount.
4)the whole process take 20 working days to complete.

Today I successfully got my newly-applied credit card. During July month, I got tried to apply 3 banks, all declined. Comes to this month, I retry and successful.

Just checked from the blacklist portal, I have been cleared. Now waiting for restructure agreement.

Just a bit of sharing about my experience of opting out from blacklist (PTPTN)
recently I went to Amcorp Mall to meet up with PTPTN officer to discuss about my loan condition with PTPTN
I had been blacklisted and my current loan status as below
Loan amount : 50k
Outstanding loan amount : 15k
scheduled repayment amount : RM326 / month since year of 2012
interest under ujrah : 1%

the officer provides me some options as below
1) pay all the outstanding amount then will be clean from blacklist within few working days
2) pay a certain % of amount and proceeding with either 1)reschedule OR 2)restructure

for my case, since I don't have so much money to clear my outstanding amount, I opted for 2nd option
So as what the officer offered, she require me to pay RM5,000 upfront and the remaining 10k will put back to the loan for either 1)reschedule OR 2)restructure

The different between them are
1)reschedule = Put the outstanding amount back to the default schedule. example as below
Total loan amount : 50k
Total outstanding : 15k
upfront payment : 5k
Remaining loan amount : 40k
This 40k will be re-calculate using the remaining period that your loan need to serve.
for my case, my remaining period to serve are 11 years which is 132 months, so 40k will be re-calculate using 132 months + whatever interest counted
If I do reschedule , my newly repayment amount goes up to RM421 / month
Pros : Stick back to the same contract and repayment period
cons : the monthly repayment will be higher (It is not recommended for people that having high commitment)

2)restructure = Put the outstanding amount to a newly created schedule and re-calculate everything base on your affordability. example as below
Total loan amount : 50k
Total outstanding : 15k
upfront payment : 5k
Remaining loan amount : 40k
This 40k will recreate a new schedule (you can choose either 10/15/20/ until you are 60 years old)
*The criteria of choosing the period is base on your loan size.
For my case, I asked to prolong for 20 years to serve this 40k loan which granted by the officer.
If I do restruture, my newly repayment amount goes down to RM242 /month
Pros : Lesser commitment
cons : more interest to serve (since it's only 1%, actually it's not that much)

The procedure of clearing from blacklist as below
1)Discuss a minimum amount that you need to pay upfront (cash / credit card is acceptable)
2)sign a form for reschedule / restructure attached with latest payslip / kwsp statement
3)wait for agreement document (they will call or email you to come and sign)
4)when the agreement document is prepared, review it and sign attached with 2 hasil setem (RM10 each)
5)once the agreement document submitted, wait for another 3-5 working days
6)you are officially clear from blacklist

For those who is urgently needed to go oversea and cannot wait for all the procedure to be done, you can actually request the officer to make a rayuan for you to temporarily allow you to go oversea but this request must be done 1/2 week before you go oversea. After you come back from oversea then your status will be blacklist again and you can proceed with whatever procedure left

Current economy in Malaysia are bad, job opportunity are getting lesser , expenses are getting higher with GST implemented, hike of petrol price etc. Fixed income job are getting worse, NO increment, NO bonus and MORE job loads. So

Hi All expert expert sekalian,

I had an Islamic Housing loan with DIBS, my future property only completed on 2016
But now when i check my online loan account, it stated that there is a figure at RMxxx.xx under outstanding GPP

My question is, what is GPP?
I thought its under DIBS so it shouldn't be incurred with any charges / interest?

need some explanation and thoughts from you guys .. Thanks
