As for the plans themselves, it seems that Maxis has streamlined them into four plans by consolidating the 30Mbps Lite and full-fledged into a single 30Mbps plan with free unlimited voice calls for RM 179 per month. Furthermore, the free unlimited voice call feature has also been added to the newly refreshed 10Mbps plan.

Interrupted network connections

Hi sifus,

yesterday I was on telnet to configure my dns to google dns

after i saveall i remember deleting a tod schedule file because i was trying to connect my printer into the router's usb port but somehow i keep getting an error and came to the solution of deleting the tod file (which doesn't work)

after that, I reboot the router

and i start getting this problem

The same problem is present on all devices connected to the same network
(my phone has problem loading pictures correctly on instagram, 9gag etc)

ping to google.com reflects a request time out every few seconds

I've come to the conclusion that it may be interrupted network connections, because for certain files that I download from the internet, the first attempt will result in incomplete download, second download only will complete.

Any idea how to rectify this problem?

stolen iphone

so my friend's iphone just got stolen in 1U H&M about half an hour ago.

Tried locating using findmyiphone but the phone is offline.

Checked H&M CCTV but they say the area is not covered they can't see anything.

Reported to management and they say police is in charge now.

What else can I do to maximise the chances of recovering the phone?

Date of transaction: 12 February 2015

Details of the complaint : Seller meet up me at 12 February at Main Place, USJ 21. I found out earphone is missing, not as promised, full package. Seller say will drop the earphone one day. It's already 3rd March, still not yet receive item.

Seller keep making empty promises, saying will drop by at a particular day, but failed to do so. I've already contacted seller lots of times, mostly he just ignore.

Seller also told me at the time of our COD, that the warranty of his phone is available until May 2015. I ask for receipt, he say no receipt, maxis staff just ask to register at SiS website.

SiS no longer operational at Malaysia. I contacted HTC Singapore to help me check warranty information, they told me already out of warranty based on the phone call they made to me.

I ask seller what to do, he ignore my message again.

Most frustrating issue is purple tint. I ask HTC Singapore what can I do, they say need to send to service centre, and since already out of warranty, a diagnostic fee of RM 80 will be incurred. Since the phone got physical damage, the replacement for the camera module may also be charged.

My advice to people who are looking to deal with him:

keep this in mind, he has a few cases few years back, and forummers have already complained. I thought he may have changed after a few years, no more bad issues, and now i have this super bad experience dealing with him. What kind of seller ignores the buyer's message? So please think twice.

HTC Warranty

Hi /k tards, I need all your help regarding an issue. I recently purchased a sec-hand M7 from a lyn user, and the guy told me it's a maxis set that is still under warranty, but no proof of purchase. He say he was told to simply register the device onto SiS website.

Now I can't seem to find the SiS website to validate the validity of the device warranty, and I call to the number of SiS distribution found on google but it turns out to be Atlantis Malaysia.

I contacted HTC regarding this issue, they told me that the warranty is already expired according to their IMEI database. I was also told that I could send my device in for repair, but a RM80 diagnostic fee will be incurred, and if there is any water damage or physical damage, the warranty will automatically be voided and the camera replacement fee will be charged.

So I check again with the HTC CS operatives, and they told me if I want to claim the warranty under SiS I can contact them, and I was given this number 03-74956997

So /k tards, what should I do now?

Last week I purchased 2 orders from xiaomi open sales.

My first order was delivered via FEDex they expect to reach my doorstep tomorrow.

Second order is delivered by GDex. So this is the status currently.

seems fine. problem is the package didn't even reach my house. my mum told me she was home the whole day and no package came.

Now I fed up liao. I call their hotline but they say not office hour liao. bullshit really.

Asus service centre

OK so the story is like this. I sent my notebook for RMA on 31st Dec 2014 and now I check status already completed repairing. SMS also confirm with me saying product already finished repairing pending collection.

I called up the number given at Asus website and got redirected to their call centre. Call centre say pending dispatch to mycom ss2 digital mall. I ask for phone number to call and ask to see if my product is there Liao or not but they say the service centre no phone number.

Now my concern is this. I stay at usj and I'm attending uni now, I don't want waste my time go until there they tell me haven't arrive. Anyone got my com digital mall contact number that I can call to ask? I remember last time I went I saw got landline phone on table and its ringing.

I was eating at McD in Sunway Pyramid today around 7pm. This dude just randomly came over to my table and sat down beside my friend.

I was stunted by his sudden appearance because i was facing the opposite direction so i couldn't see him come. I was with 2 of my other friends (all 3 of us are college kids, poorfag makan mcd only)

He started nudging my friend who he sat down beside, and keep say "sign la, sign."

My friend keep politely rejecting him by saying, no thanks. no thanks. no thanks.

This fella then asked my other friend who is sitting beside me and me to sign it.

NOTE: He didn't directly ask for donation, just asking us to sign the little booklet. And he didn't even explain what organization he is representing and what he is doing

So when we have to reject him politely more than 5 times, and frustrated for not having to be able to finish our meal, he then got pissed off.

And before he left, he said this

"Thank you, rich and kind souls who don't know how to share"

Inside us we were so pissed off but we didn't want to cause a scene.

Why do these people are even allowed in McD, especially one in a shopping mall with auxiliary police everywhere at the first place

last time order from xiaomi, item arrive at sepang 9am for arrival scan, 10am already import scan, second day 11am already delivered to my doorstep.

why today they until now also haven't start import scan, somemore delay shipping until next friday?

Update: I think my package got hijacked Liao. 3:37am out for delivery. Whole day package never reached my house. Damn.

a couple of weeks back, the side where the charms should be, the touch screen seems to receive input by itself, especially when i tilt the screen.

if i turn the screen off, by clicking function + f7, the issue seem to disappear. But recently it has gone worse.

If i slightly tap on the right side of my laptop, or near the disc drive or near the border of the screen, the screen will receive inputs by itself again at the right side of the screen.

sometimes, turning off the screen for awhile, works and the problem doesn't come back again.

sometimes i need to do a restart, and sometimes it doesn't solve the problem at all.

so i'm wondering, is this a software issue or a hardware issue?

i went to device manager and checked the HID-compliant touch screen there wasn't any problem in it.

Can someone assist me in this issue? Do i need to send in for repair?
