Getting calls from unknown numbers

Nowadays I keep getting calls from numbers I dont know. Sometimes it just rings for 1 sec then off, other times it rings longer and when i pick up the call, the person on the other end of the line asked me why did I miss call them. I tell them I didn't and they have the wrong number and hang up? Should I be worried?

Has anyone here heard of DCS Agency, or Global Legacy Cash Trust?
I have an aunt who invested some money into it and mom is asking if the whole thing is legit.
A quick check on BNM financial consumer alert page turned up nothing if it is worth anything.

Was approached by a man calling himself Ah Seng, a fat man, was wearing a white collar shirt, and blue jeans,
Was all sweaty, desperate looking,
Told me he needs to go back Singapore for an emergency involving money (I didn't press him further on this, mistake no1)
I asked him where is his wallet, he told me he accidentally left it with his friend (weak story yea, my brain wasn't working properly, mistake no2)
He asked me for RM 31 at first, to go to JB, then RM 185 times 2 for flight ticket or something. my mandarin is poor, I was lost here.
Took me to a scheduled spot to withdraw money. Warning bells ringing, but i bersangka baik thought want avoid the massive queue at the popular spot atm (mistake no3)
I gave him RM 500, and the thing is, RM185 times 2 + rm31 doesn't even make up to RM 500 (brain failure again, mistake no4)
I was somewhat subconsciously aware that I'm being cheated, but he was breaking down into tears, and he swore that his entire family will die if he cheats me of that 'measly' RM 500. I was thinking, who would say something like that just for RM 500? (mistake no5). RM 500 is pretty significant to me, considering I only have a little more than a thousand in my acc, still studying. I will make a police report later today or tomorrow.

Sebelum ini menjadi viral dilaman sosial dimana seorang pelanggan Oldtown mendakwa terdapat menu tidak halal di restoran makanan terkenal tersebut selepas melihat di resit bayarannya tertulis 'Taufu Pork Ball'. yang bermaksud tauhu bola babi.

Perkara ini telah menjadi perbualan ramai dan mereka mempersoalkan tentang status halal restoran tersebut.

Terkini, pihak Oldtown melalui laman Facebook mereka menafikan mereka menjual makanan tidak halal di restoran tersebut dan menjelaskan semua hanya kerana kesilapan ejaan pekerjanya yang menulis secara manual.

Berikut adalah penjelasan dari Oldtown.

"Kami ingin menjelaskan bahawa Oldtown White Coffee tidak menghidangkan daging babi di mana-mana cawangan di seluruh Malaysia. Seven people, including four children, have died in Siem Reap province, Cambodia, after an 11-year-old boy climbed down a well to retrieve the equivalent of 45p from its bottom and six other people died attempting to rescue him.

According to the Phnom Penh Post, the tragic sequence of events began after a 50-year-old man, Tuy Chen, dropped 3,000 riel and a cigarette lighter into the five metre deep well.

After trying unsuccessfully to retrieve his money he abandoned his efforts, but left the bamboo pole he had used to slide down into the well in place.

After being told about the money one of his children also used the pole to slide into the 16-foot shaft but fell into a coma due to lack of oxygen.

Local officials said that the child was unaware that, though safe during the day, oxygen levels in the well would fall dangerously low in the evenings.

When the child failed to return his two sisters, aged 13 and 15, went into the well after him in a desperate attempt to rescue the boy. They also collapsed and died due to the lack of air.

Reports claim that four neighbours of the family, including a 12-year-old, climbed into the well in an attempt to rescue the children and also subsequently died.

"These three kids are siblings, and when their neighbours heard about the kids lost in the well, they also climbed down to help. But the four people who tried to help, they also died one after the other in the same well,” Muy Norn, the district’s acting police chief, told the Phnom Penh Post.

An eighth person who had also attempted a rescue had survived and was in a serious condition.

Che Chhan, 30, one of the sisters of the dead children told the Phnom Penh Post that the family lived in poverty and it was this that caused the children's deaths.

“My 11-year-old brother knew that my father had lost 3,000 riel in the well and he wanted to get it back, without thinking it would be dangerous. And now so many people have died like this", she told the paper.

“I wanted to blame my father, because if he did not tell them about the money, they would not have died. But it’s over now. They would not come back if I blamed my father… but the villagers blame my father and say he was careless.”

Three little girls were found murdered in their California home Tuesday, and their mother, who was found holding a knife while lying in bed with them, has been arrested, authorities said.
Just after 5 p.m., police found three sisters — 3 years old, 2 years old and 2 months old — in bed, covered in blood at their Torrance home, sheriff’s deputies told Southern California's KTLA.
They arrested Carol Coronado, the girls' mother, on suspicion of murder.
Coronado, 30, was naked and holding a knife, police said.
Family members told deputies that a mother had killed her children, the Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
The children's father and grandmother were at home at the time of the arrest. Police are also questioning the dad, the Los Angeles times reported.
While investigators found several knives in the home, a cause of death has not yet been released.
