Segi college Subang

My daughter has decided to sign up with Segi College in Subang for Diploma in Interior Architecture for 3 years.
I have told her the bad comment about segi which i read in lowyat.
As she want to stay at home which she can travel daily for classes. She doesnt to choose colleges which required her to stay in hostel.

I strongly suggest her to go TARC, KL and she can stay in the hostel but here reason was because too many of her friends are choosing TARC and she doesnt want to follow the trend.
In TARC, she has to study foundation for 1 year and can go for degree in IA.

Any advice on plan to study in SEGI, Subang ? is the plan to study diploma and continue to degree is a better plan ?

Interior Design vs Interior Architecture

Hi,

My daughter just completed her SPM and she scored 2A (Sc & Math), 5B+ (Math +, Moral, Acc, Eco, BC) 3B (BM, BI, Sej)
and she wanted to study interior design.

I have suggested her to do interior architecture as Tarc offered the course.

I just want to what is the different between ID vs IA ?

Can someone enlighten me ?

1st time home buyer

I bought a new house (under construction) and signed the SPA on Jul 2011. Accdg to the developer (yesterday's update), they are still waiting for the majlis perbandaran klang inspection and approval b4 handover of key. so till yesterday they still cant confirm when can they handover the key. They are expecting the inspection to be done before CNY. Any idea how long it will take after the inspection ?

I have paid for the TNB & SYABAS deposit.

Company situation unstable

I am working in a local chinaman manufacturing company with about 80 staff.
I am the HR personnel here and joined in Jul 2012. When I first joined the company looked good and prosper.

After a month, the asst vice president resigned. That's when the disaster begins. The director appoints a new CEO from another subsidiary (already not in operation) and I heard the new lady CEO is the director's someone. It is a norm in a chinaman company.

During the 1st one two month of appointment, she (the new CEO) will come to office at least 2-3 times a week for meeting and signing of documents. But, since november she nvr comes to office anymore. All my HR related documents like appraisal (include mine), LOA, confirmation, staff claims that I passed to her in November are not returned. Calls & smses to her are not answered. The worst thing now is the director also hardly come in now which he will normally come in at least once a week previously.

There is one old man (from that closed down subsidiary) will come in 2-3 a week for replace the CEO but we don't who is he bcos proper information from the management....and he wants me to assist him oversee certain area like purchasing. He will instruct me thru the phone / email and I will have to do it here. I feel like I m working in a deep sh*t company.

All the staff are worried bcos the director are MIA now they still pay the salary on time because there are still orders.

I already start applying for job now but how should i tell during the interview if the co asked why i want to leave since i only joined the company for 6 months ?

Pls advice.

I got a call for interview in tiong nam, shah alam.
Anyone working there ? how's the environment and benefits ?
I heard they work from 830am to 630pm (very long) and 5 days week. that's all i know.
any input ?
