right now i am using the surfmore 50 plan and i am trying to play hearthstone (ipad version) just out yesterday. apparently the game is having some connection issue during match making and always disconnect. after further confirmation from hearthstone thread in this forum, it appears that maxis is blocking the port that hearthstone is using. the port is under p2p category from what maxis said and my question here is that...is there any way to bypass this issue? like subscribing vpn or something on my ipad?

i am wondering does an ivy bridge i3 with build in graphic intel 2500 be sufficient enough to act as a full htpc....from what i need is something like a small NAS with 4-6 hdd inside ( in a matk casing of course )...and a same time it can playback almost all types of video without any problems...do i need to get at least intel 4000 graphic to have this kind of power? budget is quite limited which around rm1500 for me...

2011 led tv better than 2012?

from my research 2011 model led tv is much better than 2012 in the sense of having more hdmi ports etc? i am finding for sony nx720 40inch and it seems to be quite hard to find this model in penang island since is a 2011 and i am wondering how is the price gonna be...my budget would be like something below 3k if possible and from what i saw from samsung is like cutting their cost having less hdmi also i heard this year 2012 6 series for samsung aren't that good...

basically there are not much differences between 2011 model and 2012 model right? other than those CMR thingy which is higher in 2012 compared to 2011 models...nx720 having 200 cmr thingy only..and those model like samsung es6220? have a high CMR but only 3 hdmi port...

ok i have a pc without graphic card under a h67 intel proc...all this while is been using its internal gpu...now i have a spare 4870 and would like to put it in this pc...my problem is when i attach this 4870 into the pc...my monitor show nothing while booting...i tried to change in BIOS...not sure i touch the correct settings..

there is a section in my asus motherboard says

PCI/PEG
PEG/IGPU
PEG/PCI

something like this...i tried playing around with those option and still see nothing from my monitor...

samsung micro dimming feature

need some advise regarding this samsung feature call micro dimming...i saw two models today which is the es6220 and es6600...both is 40inch but their different is mostly their CMR rate...but i do believe their original refresh rate are the same...which might be 120hz perhaps? but the other differences between them is that the 6600 has this feature call micro dimming where 6220 does not have it...so if someone can help me clearly understand this feature would be helpful...and i do hope that my information regarding both led tv refresh rate 120hz is correct since i do saw some ppl say the 6 series is 120hz and 5 series is 60hz...

trying to setup a new rig that allows me to play mmo games like world of warcraft..which get into 25 man raid and hope there is no lag...my budget is quite tight for this rig so i would just prefer to get a i3 sb or iv? i am not sure which is recommended....together with 7850...will the i3 be a burden as in bottleneck for the 7850?

ok i need a new gaming headset especially good with mic because of i need to use it for vent and my current budget would be around 400..please recommend me a good gaming headset...and btw i have an alienware headset that base on steelseries 5h which the mic suxs where my frens in vent complain my voice is low even they set my volumn to 800%...so i am not sure whether is my onboard sound card facing problem....is it best to get those usb type headset instead of direct plugin?

lagging with tunnel?

last thursday i am having a very high latency with tunnel called high ping buster and it seems like is my only problem while using the tunnel...i tried to confirm with other hpb user and they are not having problems with it...the hpb client shows a very nice latency on LA server with 2xx ms....but in game i get around 700-1k latency...the only thing i know i did to my pc is when i reset my winsock for my itunes stores to work with the new itunes 10.5...

i am from penang island and wish to know anyone have this similar issue or not

i am having a nice promotion price of these model

UA40C5000 - led edge lit (i think, from wat i research)
LA40C550 - lcd tv ccfl

both are samsung model, and my question is....the price different between these both is abt rm1000...and i heard that edge lit led cant really win backlit led but how does it perform when vs lcd tv? is it worth to spend the 1k more for a edge lit LED tv?
