As you can see, this is the Made in Austria version. The Made in China version doesn't say "Made in Austria".
What happened is, AKG shifted their production to China to make things cheaper and now they only make their top-of-the-line k701 headphones in Austria.
However, this set is confirm made in Austria before they became cheaper

The gold-plated 3.5mm plug is well-maintained.

This is the reason why condition is 9/10 instead of 10/10.

There is a part over here that I circled in red that has a little scratch mark. It is caused by the moving parts on the headphone that adjust to your head.
You can't see it very clearly in the photo because it's bloody invisible anyway. I even only noticed it after like 9 months of use.

If it's invisible, why I tell you that it's there? Because I'm a good guy

Quick self-review on these headphones:

Gentle trebles, Full mids and Deep bass.

It's not A LOT OF BASS, but the bass has a lot of presence and gives a very lush sound to the music it plays. The sound can be described as smooth and elegant.
Even better is the treble because if you listen to high vocals on these, they are sweet and gentle to your ears.
Soundstage is very good because of the semi-open design.
There is also significant sound isolation.

The details come through very well but not like super analytical headphones, these cans go easy on bad recordings so your 192kbps mp3s are safe with this guy

Although the k142 HD are easy to drive, there are improvements when using with amp, but more importantly, a good DAC will make this guy go very far.

Because I used it for a whole year, the headband has loosened slightly. It's still perfectly tight and secure, but not tight until head pain.

Usage statistics:
Burn-in 150 hours. 50% white noise, 20% 20hz-200hz and 10khz-30khz sweeps, 20% pink noise, 10% silence
Other than that, use for listening to music and gaming for approximately 900 hours?
Well taken care of, no stains, no sweat (I wash my hair and ears everytime before I use it. Headphones are precious

Digitising photos?

Hello all, I am new here. Mostly browse the garage sales sections in this forum only

Now, what I want to do is to get high-quality scans of my family's old photos, from say... 1960-1980? Will regular photo developing shops do this for me? Can I find this kind of service in Johor Bahru?
