[URGENT] Lost of Passport

I lost my malaysia passport (just couldnt find it anywhere).
I asked immigration department and they told me if all the required documents are submitted and no problem in the "siasatan". I will get my replacement in 5 working days.
Anybody experienced this or any idea about the siasatan?
Or any way can speed up the process?
PS: I need my passport urgently

Travelling to Msia with Australian Passport

I plan to travel to Malaysia using my Australian passport (I'm an Aus citizen) as an Australian citizen, ie enter and exit Malaysia as an Australian.

The problem is, I left Malaysia a few years ago on my Malaysian passport (which is now expired). I have learned that the Malaysian government fingerprints incoming foreign visitors, and I think my fingerprint may be linked to my previous Malaysian identity.

What are the issues in travelling solely with my Australian passport? I cannot use my Malaysian passport to enter as it has already expired. I am also ready to give up the Malaysian citizenship.

EDIT: I used to hold dual citizenship. I am now an Australian citizen.

Renew Malaysia Passport and MyKad

Hi all I have a few questions about renewing a current Malaysian passport and a MyKad obtained when I was 12.

1. How long does it normally take to renew the passport and MyKad at their respective offices?

2. Is it possible to renew during the weekend, i.e. do they process renewals on Saturday and Sunday?

What I want to do (in order of priority):

Renew passport
Upgrade MyKad (obtained when I was 12)
Upgrade driving license (current is laminated paper)

I'll arrive in KLIA at 5PM on a Friday. I plan to leave around Monday, possibly Tuesday.

Ok guys, this is what I'm building. Please check for any compatibility issues and so on. Essentially, check if when I put everything together, it turns on and works as it should.

Questions:
1) Is the motherboard important? Do I have to get specific models of it?

2) Is the case important? Can I just get the cheapest one? If yes, can you offer some suggestions?

3) Do I need a cooler? If yes, offer some suggestions, cheap ones.

Lastly, I'm a broke-ass guy, which means I would appreciate it if you can help me cut costs BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF SACRIFICING PERFORMANCE. So if you see something that could be replaced by something cheaper/better/that has more bang for my buck, let me know and please be specific. Thanks guys!

I'm applying to study med at IMU(August intake). I looked all over their website and there are no details regarding when the deadline is for that batch. When should I start applying? Or should I just do it now and wait?

Living in KL as a Student with...

Just wondering how luxurious will life be if given a monthly budget of RM5,000 to stay in KL as a student?

Include all and any expenses in your estimation (accommodation, food, etc.).

There is also no need to spend everything, i.e. use less if possible and save the rest.

I don't have this much, I'm just wondering.

EDIT: What would you do, or what can you do with this kind of budget?

Incorporating Opening Balances into Current Period

Hi, I have some problems in my accounting homework and I need some help.

Problems:

- How do I (or should I) incorporate the 8 items in Opening Balances to my Trial Balance?
- Should I post items in the Opening Balances which are not affected by the transactions? E.g. Motor Vehicle ($35,552) and Bank Loan ($26,848).

So far, I have successfully journalised and posted the transactions. The trial balance for these transactions matched, but only if I do not include Opening Balances.

Medicine in a Go8 University?

Ok now for the question.

How many subjects do I need to realistically have a shot at entry into medicine or dentistry in a Go8 university?

I'm asking this question because I'm considering dropping my Physics. During AS-level, Physics was tolerable. But now in A2-level, Physics has become very difficult for me. I honestly feel I'm wasting my time in Physics class as I don't know what the teacher is talking about. It is even depressing for me as I cannot answer the questions or understand the teacher. I cannot even understand the answers to the questions!

That's why I'm considering to drop Physics. I am absolutely positive that my other 3 subjects will improve even more if I drop Physics. In my AS-level exams, I think I did well in Physics. But since the results are not yet released, I cannot be sure. However, I think I did well because the question for this year's Physics paper is, in my opinion, relatively easier than past-year exams.

Anyway, let's get back into my question.

Do I really need 4 subjects to enter medicine in a Go8 university, or will 3 subjects (AAA or higher grades) be enough?

Another sub-question: Is AAA better than or equal to AAAB? And is A*AA better than or equal to AAAB?

I tried emailing UNSW's admission staff for medicine twice, but I still haven't get any reply though.
