Malaysia Airlines as "National flag carrier" really performing really poorly even though they are now "profiting".

On time performance, bad.
Flight cancellations, bad.
Fleet maintenance, bad.
Staff resignation, bad.

MD/board now serve shareholder or serve the airline?

Many cancellation and abrupt rescheduling without proper solution provided, TS also kena. Quick look into their FB, although say cancellation due to flight reduction, but the manner that is being handled is really poor. Many already kena but wait for hours no solution.

Their CS hotline all meletup or even cannot be dialed.

Somemore since Jan till now 63 MAB engineering staff resigned, got some posts out there indicate issues with staffs and planes. Their planes still safe or not? So many issues as highlighted in other tered.

Career Recruitment from HK

Hey guys, I've never encountered this before so I came here to see if anyone has any experience in this.

So I have been approached by a recruiter from Hong Kong that claims that they are looking for candidates to work for a company that was Metaverse based. The recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn.

The role offered to me was either Manager / Assistant Manager of a department.

The company is a gaming company (Metaverse based) that is funded / supported by a prominent Metaverse company.

Somehow, I can't help but to think that there seems to be something off. I have not shared my details apart from phone number to the recruiter at this moment as I was cautious of information scam or worse.

What has been shared:
1. Had a quick chat about the role - Apparently the company intendeds to setup a production office in Malaysia (KL, PJ); They have presence mainly in HK and SG.
2. The role's brief R&R
3. Was asked about my language capabilities (They need mandarin / Cantonese speaker)
4. What are my current / expected salaries
5. Bonus structures

Here's what I did:
1. Able to verify the recruiter's company indeed is registered with recruiter license in HK (checked through HK gov website).
2. Able to validate the website of the client company of the recruiter.
3. Checked that the 'founder' was connected to the recruiter that I was speaking with.
4. Checked that the client company is indeed hiring, but not for the role that I was offered, did not state which state / country.
5. PM'ed / Emailed the client company's official channels to verify, pending for response.

The odd thing for me was, they did not ask what I do on a daily basis / competencies, they did not even know my company's subsidiary etc, but the recruiter focused more on language capabilities as well as my interest towards Metaverse. As a metaverse 'investor', I am exposed to the field and did share my interests towards this company.

Hopefully anyone here can share their experience / advise if any related to what I've experienced.

Just awhile ago, I discovered that my SO's workplace now got a few confirmed case already (not a gigantic company btw). Needless to say I would be close contact to my SO.

And my SO is also close contact to the positive case. Now pending for PCR result. We now sort of mindf***ing ourselves whether we feeling unwell or not. This is bad.

What I did:
1. Wear mask at home
2. Sanitize and clean
3. Separate utensils, minimize indirect contact and maximize distance
4. Haven't been out and will not do so

While all these going on, people still hesitate wanna sign up and take vaccine or not. I signed up for AZ.

I just want to say, at this point, I really wish I chose the earlier date. Blood clot would be the least of my concern now. So guys, if you are eligible, healthy and doctor say can take, but hesitating whether to take the vaccine or not ... DON'T hesitate ... especially when your benefit outweighs risk.

Don't wait until people around you kena ler and then only start panic. It would be too late.

I would like to find out if you would vaccinate or not once these vaccines roll out.

Apologies for the lack of 1 more option i.e. Moderna / Pfizer / AstraZenaca Combo, you may state below and vote for PFIZER ONLY.

Because I had this thought, whereby if only i.e. 40% of the population would take the vaccine, what would happen to the rest that does not (if the vaccine works?).

Known reasons for NOT TAKING vaccines:
- Scared kena track
- Scared side effects
- Scared kena exposed while going to get vaccinated
- Scared later affect health

Known reasons for TAKING vaccines:
- In general, gain immunity then bukake semua
- Protect family / friends

### PERSONAL THOUGHTS ###
Whats the use of vaccines if people don't want to take them even after successes etc? Most people that are not experts in this field / uneducated / lack of knowledge are easily mislead by some parties (i.e. Pro-Glove-Counter sifus on Facebook etc) by overstating / misinforming about vaccines. I am not pro/anti glove stocks FYI.

General Insurance Claim (Vehicle, AXA)

Hi guys, I have a question that I have encountered recently, hopefully sifus here can enlighten.

1. My car got banged.
2. Claim the guy's insurance (rented car, but managed to die die drag to make police report).
3. Brought car to perodua (for all ori new parts), car fixed, now wanna claim loss of use.
4. Collected report documents etc from perodua, submitted to AXA general.
5. Amount claimed according to perodua's docs are RM350.00.
6. But after about 1 month submitting, AXA replied with the discharge voucher form or smth for RM300.00, while email wrote RM120.00 (I suspect its typo just copy paste etc).
7. I still have the copy of record submitted.

Question:
1. Is the amount approved by them final? i.e. RM300.00?
2. Or they should be reimburse me the amount I (perodua) claimed? i.e. RM350.00?
3. If I were to dispute, how can I do it?

[b]GENERAL CC DISPUTE INFO / FLOW:
1. CC Holder files for dispute with respective Issuing Bank (Card Issuing Bank i.e. Maybank)
2. Issuing Bank handles a case and issues a dispute statement to Acquiring Bank (Merchant Bank i.e. Public Bank) / Payment Gateway (iPay88 / RazerPay / GHL / MolPay) depending on the Merchant MID provider / umbrella.
3. Acquiring Bank / Payment Gateway liaises with merchant to defend the dispute (asks merchants for supporting document i.e. Invoice / Delivery Note / Any proof to demonstrate product delivered / service has been rendered.)
4. Acquiring Bank reverts to Issuing Bank with supporting documents, to mediate whether the dispute (cardholder) / chargeback (merchant) is valid.
5. Once decision is reached, outcome will be published / informed by the Acquiring + Issuing banks.
6. Each party will be informed of the outcome (dispute success = chargeback for merchant, refund for cardholder; dispute fail = cardholder signs dispute cancellation form or dispute not valid)
*Does not take into account of further dispute / pre-arbitration.
*As per last advice by CS, MBB recommends dispute to be filed ASAP after transaction posting date for more accurate case presentation. However, the duration could be longer / has been known to be different from banks to banks depending on their policies, some may accept a much longer period i.e. Up to 9 months in some banks.

Aeon Return Policy

Greetings to all, I would like to ask in behalf of my friend who wanted to return his item for refund (Sony Home Theatre system he bought from Aeon - Promotion item) due to incompatible with his television system. Is that doable ? It's within one week (three days) after the purchase is done, the product is disassembled, re-wrapped in good working condition. The warranty wasn't registered yet as well. What are the procedures and the required receipt other than the purchase receipt itself ? Hope you guys can help answer this question, thank you very much.
