CNY Balik Kampung

Hi The Awsome Ppl of /K,

So its my first time balik kampunging from KL to Kedah so I have a question for you, the more experience balik kampung-ers,

I've been thinking of these 2 options for a balik kampung, which one will cause me less jam ?

Bare in mind i am going to use the NS highway.

Option 1: Leave KL (city) 4pm on the 5th of Feb (Friday)
Option 2: Leave KL (city) 3/4am on the 6th of Feb (Saturday Early Morning)

Option 1: my preferred time, but worried i may catch the jam = (
Option 2: less preferred cause i might be sleepy, its dark but more likely to not run into jams

So yea.. please advice /K...thankies !

at first she said "OMG I am sweattin" ( in a britsh accent)

then "Where are you from ?" (in normal malaysian accent)

then "Kelanteh" ( in a very ghetto kelantanese accent )

ROFLMAO so much i need to watch it again...

I already have a iphone4s with me and and I am coming back home (Msia) for a few weeks.

My iphone4s is already unlocked and I would like to use it back home during my visit

Which network offers a per-paid sim preferably with data ?

Ideally what I want to be doing when I reach home is to pop into a mall and get me one of those sims, pop it into my phone, dial my best friends number and be like "Dude, jom mamak !" hhahaha

Hi guys,

I am fan of HDR photography, and was wondering how do u know how much wide to bracket your shots ? E.g. If u see a scene, how to u know weather to set 1/3 EV brakets or 1EV brakets or maybe even 2EV brakets ?

Secondly, I am a canon user and i can only make my camera bracket 3 shots ? is it possible to make it braket more shots with 1 click of the shutter realease ? cause i think nikons can bracket like 5 or 7 shots isnt it ?

Penny's LX3 vs Oly's E-P1

Iam looking for for a compact with dslr-ish quality. After some research i kinda set my sights on a lx3, BUT ! the E-P1 was launched yeasterday and after seeing some sample shots i think its gona be a rival for both the lx3 and the g10.

So i was hoping the sifu's can help/advise/comment.

1)1st question that poped into my mind, being new to photograpghy and all is, what is micro 4/3 ?? how is that different compared to the lx3 ?

2)I heard the lx3 is pretty good with noise but above iso400, the noise starts, on the other hand, I read that the e-p1 is good all the way up to 1600 and truth in that ?

3) The sensor type on the lx3 is CCD vs the NMOS on the e-p1, how much diffrents will i see in the pics with these 2 different sensor types ?

4)The image stabalization on the lx3 is lens wheares its a sensor shift on the e-p1.. how are they diffrent ? and again wat diffrences can be seen on the pics ?

5) The pixel density on the lx3 is 24 MP/cm² compare to a pixel density of 5.1 MP/cm² on the e-p1. With so much diffrents, hw will it effect the image quality ?

Some things i like about the lx3 vs e-p1
1) wider angle
2) build in flash
3) smaller/compact-er
4) higer resolution lcd x2 that of the e-p1

Some things i like about the e-p1 vs lx3
1) higer MP sligtly more thn 2MP
2) higher max shutter speed
3) wider range of exp. comp.

Which protien product should i use ?

Hi guys

I wondering if i should get protein products to boost my workout effectiveness, but i do not know which i should choose as there are so many out there.. like whey,creatin,cell tech and nitro-tech and so many brands as well.

Iam 170cm and 65 kg. Here's what i wana achive.. I jst want toned bod, ie. toned arms, nice chest and a 6 pack. ( i dont want to be huge or hulk-like)

Here is what i have been doing (not really constant) but in a week i do

1 session of swimming,1 hour long
1 session of push ups, currently up to 60 times
1 session of ab workout (3 mins x 3 sets), sumthing i found on youtube

This has been going on for 1 month plus. So should i take those protein powders ? i was eyeing on whey at gnc last nite. and i was plannig to take whey ONLY after those workout sessions am i correct ?

any ways, need your guys help/comments/advise. Thanks alot !

p/s: i know my workout routine is lame... so feel free to suggest stuff to add-on or change ! Thanks again, really need sum guidance here.

Hi guys, Ok here my situation;

I jst completed by BTEC HND in Mechatronics and am looking to futher my studies in possibley Manchester Metropolitan University(MMU) in the UK. Iam was granted a final year entry into their BEng course. Although I havent decided weather to go for mechanical or automotive Eng. program but MMU is on of my more prominant considerations.

My question;
How does the mech. department of this uni. stack up againts other uni's mech. dept. ?
How does MMU's Mech. course compare to Hull uni. ?
How does MMU's Automotive course compare to Stradfortshire uni. ?

For those who have been here, is it nice there ?

So, today isnt my lucky day, got roadblock and kena saman by polis for dark tint. But the funny thing is, he wrote my address and post code worngly, all the 6 he saw as 8... but other details like my IC,name number plate is correct.

Hi guys, Iam planing a 3 days 2 nights trip to pulau readang budget is quite tight (less and RM800). I havent been there and i know it gona be awsome so i need info/ advice from ppl who went there before.

1) When is a good time to go ?
1) Where is a good place to stay in ? not really looking for fancy hotels here.
2) What activites are there besides snorkling and scuba diving ?
3) Is it easy to get around the island ?
4) How to get to redang frm pg ?
5) Any places i should stay clear of ?

Protein powder

Alrite iam a total noob to this protein powder thing, i went to survey prices in gurney plaza earlier 2day and there was so many freakign types and brands to choose from and the sales person wasnt a good help...so need your guys help and or opinions

my objective to get these protein powder:-

1) to build up sum muscles ( jst wan nice chest and hopefully a six pack they rest dun really matter)
2) to build a little (jst a lil will do) of body mass

1)so wat type of protien powder should i go for ?
2) any particulary good or bad brands ?
3 )is there harmful side effects ? 4
4) and wat is "WHEY" is dat a brand ?
