Went shopping the other day for sunglasses and finally settled on one particular design. After being satisfied with the build make and quality including box, was told the price was rm490. After Discount 50%.

Decided to browse a few other shops for the same design. To my surprise, Focus point was selling at rm390 for the exact same thing.

How do we tell from fake and ori? Or is this just a case of competitive pricing?

There are no serial numbers to cross check like yoobao power banks.

Fixing tinted film on a new car

Hi all,

I've recently booked a Honda e spec but the salesman said that if I want to add tinted film, I have to add between rm1500 and rm2200 for the Eco tint brand, GPS with reverse camera rm3900 and leather seat rm2800. (Supposedly full leather)

I feel these prices are exorbitant and asked if getting my own shop to do would be ok.

He said it would void the warranty, especially if it affects the circuit board.

How true is this?

So i decided to catch a movie and noticed Nora Danish on the poster of a Malay movie. Now, the last Malay movie I watched was xxray decades ago so I was wondering if the local movie scene has improved since then. I loved xxray as a kid. But this movie really....

The cinema was almost empty with about 7 people.
Movie was so bad, I don't even know where to begin!
I didn't leave the theatre because I wanted to give the movie a chance from beginning to end.

Anyone else watched this yet? I casually searched YouTube and lo and behold the full movie was there.

So after watching the promo video of Honda Crider which is exclusively for the China market, I searched on how to import a car to Malaysia. Saw the pinned thread and was blown away by how rigid the Malaysian authorities are. How long are they going to protect the local car industry?

Honda Crider costs RM60,000, what do you think of this car? Looks great for a B-segment car.

Budget RM80,000

Dear sifu-sifu,

I've been to the Nissan showroom and test driven the Almera 1.5 full spec and it came up to RM80,000. The thing is, I'm trying my best to accept the looks. Overall, its a good car but can't help but feel a certain sort of "cheapness" to the plastic interior, ugly inner door handles, short bonnet, small tyres.
But who am I to complain...? My budget is RM80,000 only. Other than that, the car is perfect. The second hand car dealer has also given a good trade in value for my xtrail.

Any other alternatives out there with RM80,000 budget?

My main requirements are:-
1. Driver and Passenger airbags (standard safety features)
2. Reasonable maintenance cost
3. Looks are also important to me
4. Space
5. Sedan (No hatchbacks)

Been looking at Inspira, New Vios, Old City, Almera. What other cars should I have a look at around RM80,000 with my main requirements?

Gundam Hobby Dillemma

My apologies if my topic is against the forum rules!

A bit off the usual hobby discussion but bear with me:

I've always had this fascination for Gundam kits but never got into the hobby as I was put off with the retail prices here in Malaysia.

Then I went to Japan.

After seeing the insanely low prices at bic camera/yodabashi, what was I waiting for! A few hundred ringgits for 3 kits won't hurt. They just look freakin' awesome.

It is now exactly 2 months since I bought my first kit and now I have bought a total of 7 kits (All Master Grades and 2 High Grades)

Now here's the thing. In the space of 2 months, these are the kits I've bought.

1. MG Aile Strike RM
2. HG Rx-0 Unicorn Titanium Finish
3. HG Blue Astray 2nd L

4. MG MSA-0011 Ex-S
5. MG Shin Musha Sengoku No Jin
6. MG Musha Gundam Mk2
7. MG Red Frame Kai

Of all the kits I've bought, I've only had time to assemble 2 and 3, the easy kits.

It's like I've gone nuts with my buying and no time to truly enjoy assembling. Buying one new kit every week!

....and then there's the issue of buying spray/paint/brushes/markers

......then those Resin kits look fantastic! There are just...SO many.

I'm sure the majority of gunpla collectors/modellers want to do their best with their models right?

I just have this nagging feeling that I won't be able to put enough time into getting decent at my modeling skills. Maybe I should just improve at my current hobby, drumming!

Summary: So much to do, so little time!
