My line suddenly cannot surf although its connected. IPTV and phone is ok. Made a call to TM and they said that they are currently starting to receive many calls regarding this problem.

Anyone have this problem? I am from SS19 subang jaya

Blackberry App World is coming!

Senior vice-president for marketing Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin told the media that Celcom is currently working closely with Research In Motion (RIM) to make available the Blackberry Apps store in Malaysia. He expects that to be completed within one to two months.

Zalman added that at the moment, the Celcom Channel X portal currently has about 4,000 Blackberry apps for download.

Celcom has a 52% Blackberry market share in Malaysia and it is currently the largest Blackberry seller in the South-East Asia. The company targets to sell at least 70,000 Blackberry devices this year.

Have anyone tried the latest version of bolt browser 1.6?

Is it just me or does it seem slower than 1.5?

1.6 changelog says that its faster than 1.5 because it fully support socket now.

But for me, 1.6 very slow in rendering pages.

Please comment here if u have used the latest version.

TM staged a preview of its fibre-to-the-home 100Mbps broadband access service at the Mont Kiara Pines Condominium in Sri Hartamas here yesterday.

"We are heading for the digital home era where IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), VoIP (Voice-over-Internet Protocol) and home surveillance (via the Net) are necessities," said TM Malaysia Business CEO Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa.

The telco plans to start the first phase rollout of its service in the third quarter of next year.

Initially, the connection speed will be 10Mbps, but this will increase as the rollout continues.

Zamzamzairani said TM would be starting with high-rise buildings such as condominiums before moving to houses on the ground.

"It may take two to three years before the service becomes widely available," he added.

He said the rollout would be easier if property developers start providing fibre-optic infrastructure in their housing projects.

Currently, most broadband users in the country have to be content with Internet connections of 2Mbps or less.

I am using Streamyx 1MB package. But how come my dlink dsl info show this 26k datastream? Even the SNR margin i suspect is wrong because it is so low but i NEVER get Disconnection problem.

I have tried changing all the modulation. Still same problem.

Freaking slow connection again

I just called tmnet and there was an announcement stating that there is service interuption in klang valley again.

1 week 3 time tmnet screw up their gateway.

Slow Connection problem

I am still facing the slow connection to international site particularly to US although TMNET has confirmed that the international cable was already fixed. I cannot even play my WOW smoothly for an hour.. Latency wont go down below 1000ms from the average of 300 -500ms.

Made a call to TMNET customer service, they already removed the "Earthquake struck cable announcement". A male customer service confirmed with me that the International cable APCN2 was FIXED at 6.30am February 1 2007. But when i directed my problem to him, all he know was to ask me make a report and do self troubleshooting which is pointless since i can surf smoothly to any Malaysian website.

So, i would like to ask if anyone is still facing any slow surfing speed to international site at the moment? How about your games latency especially those hosted in US? Please do not talk about p2p and bittorent here as it is obvious your connection has been throttled.
